Aboriginals have deep resentment at their dispossession and exclusion from society. A change in their social circumstances and place in society is a long haul requiring the nurturing of Aboriginal leadership to take control over their society.

The evident solution is for the government to invoke a genuine policy of inclusion and empowerment. Aboriginals need to be fully included in closet pom society not the blatantly false, patronizing, policies of the past.

The problem appears intractable from the white man's aspect because no serious attempt to include Aboriginals in society has ever been made.

The only way it can ever be solved is by enabling Aboriginals to solve it themselves.

Closet poms poisoned Aboriginal society by displacing the social structures that existed before the settlement of Australia. Nothing replaced the previous social structures which gives rise to the anarchy of today. New social structures need to be developed that link and include Aboriginals in mainstream closet pom society.
They need to assimilate.  One country, one set of rules for all. End of story.

Yes, we are agreed on that. How do you suggest we quell this resentment?

Yes!! That's right!!

How do we do it?

Yes yes yes!! You're giving Oz a raging hard-on.

How do we go about it?

No. That would be considered genocide...they want to be included, yet they want to be a separate tribe. How do you suggest we achieve that?

I'm sick of your high platitudes. Roll your sleeves up and tell me how "we enable Abos to solves it themselves"?

Awesome solution. We'll just do that. How will you implement it?

Nicole Page 2016, you told LTYC that you would offer your solution after he posted his.

So, what do you propose we do? Share your idea of fixing it.

Then I'll do the same. I have ideas. Do you? Or do you just want to sit on the sidelines lobbing spitballs.

Your turn.

Oh, I will Oz. You can depend on it.

But how about you little man? At least laugh is having a go.

Aboriginals are at Aurukun because there has been a longstanding (since 1788) policy of dispossession and exclusion from white society.

"As ye sow, so shall ye reap."

The principle of exclusion from closet pom society is now a part of Aboriginal culture.

That confirms that the Australian Aboriginal's genetic makeup is severely flawed, & inferior to that of other Aboriginal peoples world wide because, in all that time, they have failed to advance beyond a 'victimized' stage of development, unlike like most all the other dominated races in vanquished lands that have mastered their prior limitations through innovation, & advanced by overcoming societal roadblocks while strengthening their cultures.

"Generic make up?" What TF is that supposed to mean?

The dux of the school at yarrabah (a community near cairns) could not pass the test to get a job at Mcdonalds.

Currently the spend per aboriginal child on education is 28,000 or over 2 and 1/2 times the spend on other kids.

The  problem will not be solved by money.

The aboriginal community at Arakun is in the middle of the best beef country in australia.

Cattle in this area cannot be sent to an abbatoir as it is impossible to process meat in these remote areas which do not have the technical skill to run an abbatoir.

But live cattle are a very viable operation and aboriginals are naturally good stockmen.

for the cost of all this wasted education, we could buy a very good live cattle export ship live the "pacific drover"
aboriginals could staff it and learn maratime skills,
they would get the self esteem boost of sailing to indonesia , seeing foreign countries, learning new skills, a solid income, enormous opportunities for expansion.

This would be a great plan to rebuild these communities.

Or the wankers in canberra and the white gravy train aboriginal industry can continue to sentence aborigines to alcoholism, petrol sniffing, no future, suicide and incarceration.

How about it lefties,  live cattle is certainly a win/win

Aquatrousers is advocating slavery and a gulag for Aboriginals. Asian countries are currently eliminating such practices while cretins like Aquatrousers is advocating their introduction to Australia.

Closet poms with the Aquatrousers state of mind were responsible for the genocide in Tasmania and elsewhere in Australia.

Here is proof people like Laugh/Svengali are perpetuating the problem.

'Passive racism' behind poor school attendance: Scullion
Mr Scullion said it was unfortunate that school attendance was seen as a choice in some Indigenous communities.

"I think the passive racism that has allowed that to happen over years and years in this country, that it's OK, for example, for my children, serial truants as I was, to be chased up and I got rung to go to school," he said.

"But the kids they were wagging with were all Aboriginal children.

"They were their best mates.

"Those Aboriginal children never got a phone call."

Just heard a great interview on ABC radio, I'll try find a link later but something about how an Indigenous education foundation was targeting the brightest kids in these communities and fully funding them to be sent away to the countries best boarding schools. (wink wink who's mentioned this about 10 times in this thread).

Most of the kids do really will and will probably end up in a position to go back to their communities and become real leaders.

The Aboriginals didn't have phones. The truancy officials failed in their duty.

Aquatrousers sees solutions whilst the white public service Aboriginal Industry see pawns to be used to ensure the flow of gravy to whities continues. Wink

the white public service gravy train will call this "a new stolen generation".
the white public service aboriginal industry (which has spent 100 billion since gough created it) will never give up their power.
their power is dependant on labelling anyone who wants to truly help aborigines (you and me) as racist whilst continuing to amass their public sector super and go "tsk tsk"

GordyL is an evident bigot and racist blind to rationality and logic.

People from deprived communities who are educated don't go back to those communities because there are no opportunities for advancement in those societies and the gravity of the deprivation pulls them back into the state of deprivation.
