Yes he has to be Catholic to be pope

Yep.

But that doesn't make him a Christian.

Yes. It does. Jesus ...  Grin

No it doesn't.

Yes it does.

God you're ridiculous.

Catholicism is a branch of Christianity .

Nope.

Just because a person is Catholic, that does NOT make them a Christian.

You're out of your mind. Or what remains of it.

Coming from you, I can only take that as a compliment.

And just because a person is Catholic,  that in itself does NOT make them a Christian. Fact!

What does it make them Lisa?

You can't be a Catholic without being a Christian, for crying out loud.

There's plenty of difference in Christianity as there is in Islam.

Mothra is talking through her ass. Catholics believe in a representative of god being on earth (the pope). That's a big difference between other branches of Christianity.  Mothra gets on here defending Muslims who aren't radicals but this belief doesn't seem to extend to Christians. Not all Christians think the same Mothra.

So that's a "no" then.

Catholics are a type of Christian.

I never said they did.

I am merely saying that Catholics are a type of Christian .

Do you disagree?

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.

It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt
