UK needs to be rescued from itself. Migrants and refugees are not the problem. Poms are the problem.

UK has been a third world country since the onset of WW2 and has been trending even lower.

The best thing that could happen to UK is that China buys it and pays off their debts and gets efficient Chinese management and workers in to rescue UK from itself.

The continuing decline of the GBP against the USD since WW2, and its still falling, exemplifies the malaise.

If Herbert was of any use to the UK (or any other country for that matter) he would be over there now helping it out of the hole.

Since 1948 the GBP has fallen dramatically against every other major currency except the Italian Lira. Against the German Deutchmark it fell from 13.43 1948 to 2.69 2015. The Japanese Yen 812 1948 to 184 2015.
