Well, okay - I admit he presents very well on TV and seems to be a very likable fellow, but I think he would do himself a favour if he didn't see himself as an apologist and pro bono Defence Counsel for Muslims who find themselves under criticism in the media.

Is he on TV to be a 'Muslim', or is he there to function only as a 'TV Personality'? I can't think of any TV presenters or 'personalities' who believe it's their job to spruik on behalf of Christians who have fallen foul of media criticism.

Not at all. Aly and his lovely wife have written columns, done interviews and had articles written on their marriage. Waleed Aly married a non-Muslim. He was surprised when she converted.

And again, I know quite a few Muslims married to non-Muslims, both here and abroad. I've told you this a few times. You always forget.
