I See JT has closed the Ice age page

Perhaps JT can riddle me this.

'The combined average temperature over global land and ocean surfaces for March 2016 was the highest for this month in the 1880–2016 record, at 1.22°C (2.20°F) above the 20th century average of 12.7°C (54.9°F).'

Just how does the 20th century global land and ocean temperature keep varying? The temperature has dropped 2.1°F in 3 months.

And dropped 4.1°F since September 2015.

It must be worse than we thought.

What a shame - just when we had the chance to discuss it properly with the actual famous author.
