It is interesting how such a simple policy proposal has ended up causing the Coalition to fight among themselves. A house divided cannot stand ...

Dear Mr Crook
Too many of your threads start with the words "we WANT"

WANTING reflects a "taker" mentality, a "leecher" mentality.

You should aim to self actualise and approach topics from a 'spirit of contribution".

Try to put out good clean positive masculine energy.
This is the way of the superior man  Wink

Have you given any thought to how much a Royal Commission costs?  And there are also the costs of the follow up action to take into account.  Why not just give ASIC additional powers and more funding?

Smiley Smiley,

the majestic shark swims through the ocean and certain parasitic leecher fish hitch a ride.
thats the visual imagery i use for the unions relationship with business.

the majestic powerful businessman , off on his mission in life, making things happen and the little sucker fish unionists just tagging along, directionless, weak and impotent.

A slightly better frame to come from is (if you are a business person) to imagine yourself in a nuclear powered typhoon class submarine , blitzing thru the water and the unionists and public servants who try to interact with you, are like sardines bouncing off your thick powerful shiney hull.
They are of so little significance to you and your mission in life, that they do not even register. You are oblivious to them  Wink

in that case you would have had an absolute ball the last 2.5 years .... it's like Abbott and Costello and Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, with a large dash of Inspector Clouseau and Titanic all rolled into one

... and not holding the banks to account with a thorough investigation is a "stimulus package" for the criminals.

Yes, imagine the right of MPs in a party to hold and express their OWN OPINION. How horrible! While you always tell us how good independents are, you hypocritically criticise those in a party with independent views. of course you only have the Libs to complain about since an ALP MP is not entitled to their own opinion. Their 'opinions' are presented to them courtesy of the ACTU
