Dunno.....where is the evidence that there was evidence of this criminal activity by Banks/AMP when the ALP had Government?

That will not work Mr Trees.  For many, many months, the Libs, with the support of the bastard begetting bonking bloated and boozed beetroot and his National pals, refused the ALP's call for this RC and that is what the voters will recognise/remember.  They will associate this criminal activity with the attempt of those political pricks to cover it up with sham activity in the Senate....a ONE day exercise where the Banks said....'We'll do better.'

Arseholes....

Are you defending them Mr Trees?

Show me the evidence for that.

Are you defending these pricks and those of their political pals who tried for many months to protect them, Mr Trees?

Shocked

Because nobody asked for it.

And Labor aren't scum. They pushed for this RC. The REAL scum here are the Liberals. They denied it, over and over again, over 20 times over more than two years. They only called it to save themselves embarrassment when the Nationals were pushing for it, and they were still scummy enough to ask the banks to provide the Terms of Reference.

What's really going to twist your balls later on is finding out just how damaging this is to your Liberal government. All the scandals being uncovered after they said nothing would be found, waste of time, etc.

It's going to put a very strong mood for change in the electorate that cannot be stopped. We need a government that will get tough on corporate crime, not aid it by being too soft as Liberal governments always are. No compelling case can be made to return a government led by a former banker with a dubious past. Oh, and who's still opposed to a Federal anti-corruption commission? Those same Liberals who thought a Royal Commission into the banks would be a waste of time.
