99% chance a guy driving a mazda 3,

what a load of rubbish.  Roll Eyes

Which colour did you get?  the hot pink?

http://www.carnewschina.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/mazda-3-pink-china-2.jpg

It looks fabulous.

don't drive a mazda . Your comment was still a load of sh1t

So why did you get your lacey panties twisted about the Mazda 3, but not the others listed?

calling bullsh1t 'bullsh1t' isn't 'getting lacey panties twisted', no matter how much you wish it so.

I picked out the mazda as that's the most common of the three you mentioned.

My ex, the tight Scottish b@stard,

Is that racial vilification?

It does sound like it and probably is although, if he did buy a used 120Y, maybe it is a statement of fact.  Given the outdated racial stereotype hinted at though, it would be less distasteful if the reference to him being Scottish were omitted.

Big 4WD of any sort!

Usually driven by men with small penis' or butch women!

Mainly hated for obstructing ones vision both on the roads and in car parks

They should all be blown up!

What about people who like putting big things in their car?
I have a big softroader which lets me chuck my windsurfing gear and a SUP in the back, then after work if the wind's up I go for a blast, if not I go for a paddle.

I'll always have a board of some kind in the car plus my work gear.

I can also get 3 bikes in the back without frigging around with racks.

Yeah, It's a bit rich (bloody stupid) to say that all 4WD enthusiasts are compensating for something. It's a question of utility. I'm very fussy about what I would drive on Fraser Island for example.  I have pulled out  a Great Wall and a Subaru among others over the years, although getting bogged usually is due to the driver. Many of these soft roaders come to grief pretty quickly.

Even in a less harsh environment, I'd trust my Jeep or my Cruiser any day.

How many 4WD are driven by 4WD enthusiasts?

For that matter how many never leave the city streets. The hardest bit of 4WDing they do is drive up a gutter or two.

I realise that some people need to carry lots of stuff may need one, although a large station wagon would do as well.

I just find them a bloody pain in the arse blocking ones view when backing out of car parks or at intersections etc. I suspect their are a lot of collisions indirectly caused by them obstructing peoples view at intersections

Fair enough, but I live in a regional city where about 2 out of 3 vehicles are large SUVs.  Here it's the norm, and most people here also use them for accessing good fishing spots and 4WD'ing.  Judging from insurance premiums, I don't think we're more accident prone as a result.

Nothing wrong with a Patrol. It's better than a Nissan Poof-finder. I'd go with a Cruiser any day though.
