You will fit more in a good station wagon.

Do you class cars like the Territory or Kluger as a wagon or as a 4WD?

Traditional station wagons are getting harder and harder to find. Many models no longer have a station wagon as an option.

I can't imagine why station wagons aren't as popular as they used to be.  I drive one and I have been surprised at how much you can fit ini it.  They carry just as much if not more than an SUV, and they drive like a car rather than a small truck.

There still are a few of them out there on the market.

SUV's don't drive like trucks. Most modern ones drive pretty well.

I was thinking more of the driving position rather than steering, handling and gearchanging.  They also use up more fuel than a station wagon.

We had a pink '68 land cruiser. Kinda pink, well a pink tinge. We used to call it "Lily the Pink" not "Lily the Stink".

Wonderful.

Not many women are into it, though.

I think I'm starting to cringe a little.
