Panama Papers leak

Panama Papers leak leads to ‘largest protest’ in Iceland’s history

...

Germany’s Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) has released the biggest leak in journalistic history, posting 11.5 million documents from a Panamanian law firm online and providing “rare insights into a world that can only exist in the shadows.”
SZ said it received the law firm’s documents a year ago from an anonymous source who “wanted neither financial compensation nor anything else in return.”

The German paper obtained further documents in an investigation that followed, involving “400 journalists from more than 100 media organizations in over 80 countries.”

SZ said it decided to analyze the data in cooperation with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).
The data in the so-called Panama Papers, “provides rare insights into a world that can only exist in the shadows. It proves how a global industry led by major banks, legal firms, and asset management companies secretly manages the estates of the world’s rich and famous: from politicians, FIFA officials, fraudsters and drug smugglers, to celebrities and professional athletes,” the German newspaper wrote.

The information in the leak covers the activities of the Mossack Fonseca firm over a period from the 1970s to spring 2016.

“The Panama Papers include approximately 11.5 million documents – more than the combined total of the Wikileaks Cablegate, Offshore Leaks, Lux Leaks, and Swiss Leaks,” SZ said.

The data is presented in the form of e-mails, pdf files, photo files, and excerpts from the Panaman firm’s database.

The leak claims to expose the offshore holdings of 12 current and former world leaders and provides data on the financial activities of 128 other politicians and public officials from different countries.

The thing about the Panama papers is that none of these tax-free hidie-holes are secret. Switzerland was founded on this kind of shady dealing. That's why the Nazi''s didn't invade. Its all common knowledge. Its just that the UN, the IMF, and the World bank are run by people have reasons not to do anything about it

Because Iceland broke away from the normal banking system to get their country back.  This is payback.

The bombshell revelations contained in the Panama Papers have resulted in the resignation of the Prime Minister of Iceland, massive censorship in China, and outright denials in Moscow after both of their respective Presidents were implicated in the scandal.

But curiously, not a single member of the political/corporate elite within the U.S. has been named out of the 441 U.S. clients identified in the leaked documents.

The surprising lack of U.S. power elite appearing in any of the articles written on the leak could potentially be related to the entities funding the organization investigating the papers — or perhaps something even more nefarious.

....

With so much power residing in the hands of the organization of journalists given exclusive access to the documents and tasked with investigating, it begs the question — who or what is behind the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists?

It must be noted that the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists was launched by the Center for Public integrity – a group heavily funded by Putin arch-nemesis George Soros. Soros has been implicated in being a hidden hand behind numerous revolutions across the world.

Other groups that provide funding include:

The Rockefeller Family Fund
The Rockefeller Brothers Fund
Open Society Foundations (Soros)
Carnegie Endowment
Ford Foundation
W K Kellogg Foundation
Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting

Had the Mossack Fonseca documents been turned over to WikiLeaks, the information would have been released en mass, as to allow for a publicly searchable database that would allow for anyone to search the documents in detail. Instead, control of the information resides in the hands of corporate mainstream media, thus allowing them to cherry pick stories they deem “newsworthy,” without allowing the public the ability to dig deeper into the information.

Days After Iceland's PM Resigns Over "Panama Papers", Its Bankers Are Released From Jail Years Early

Published on 8 Apr 2016

Case closed, but the question lingers: is the Panama Papers merely a warning to anyone in government who dares to put bankers in prison to make sure that their own financial documents are in pristine condition, or else?

REMINDER: What Has George Soros Funded Over the Years? (Video)

It's not just the Panama Papers and Euromaidan

Thu, Apr 7, 2016

Following the accusation by Wikileaks that Billionaire financier George Soros stands behind the release of the "Panama Papers," it behooves us to remember what else Soros has funded over the years.

Recently it became clear that Soros was sponsoring distruptions at Donald Trump speeches in the US. But most of Soros' money and time goes to trying to engineer "regime change" abroad - particularly in Eastern Europe. What a generous fellow.

Appears Australia has its hands dirty with this. BHP Billiton, a well known resources giant; Wilson Security, a firm that keeps on receiving "lucrative" contracts from the federal Aussie government; some douche-baggy company called Hutchison, which is actually Hong Kong-based operating numerous ports and telecommunications in Australia, and an a major capitalist heir to the Multiplex construction empire.

Shocking!  Who knew the Australian capitalist criminal conspiring corporate elite were ever involved in such worldwide power schemes brought on by filthy trans-national corporations in order to doge paying taxes and thus avoiding the scrutiny of their business operations by setting up offshore shell companies?

Oh do PLU-EEEEZE tell me more about the beauty that is capitalism.

No wonder your country can't legalize weed.

Panama Papers: About 80 serious Australian criminals named leaked documents, ATO says

Serious criminals are among the Australians named in the Panama Papers, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) says.

About 800 Australians were in the 11 million documents leaked from the law firm Mossack Fonseca, which revealed widespread tax avoidance.

Tax Commissioner Chris Jordan told a parliamentary inquiry into corporate tax avoidance the ATO had already been investigating some of the companies and individuals named in the papers.

He said the ATO had linked 120 of those named to an offshore company in Hong Kong — although he did not name the company.

Mr Jordan said he was particularly concerned by the number of people on the list who were also involved in organised crime.

"Around 80 names match the Australian Crime Commission's serious and organised crime intelligence holdings," he said.
