couldnt agree less.......it doesnt just happen on one side...you are now being childish..

the point I make is..

a dear friend of yours.. who was charged with credit card fraud..[some lefties get upset if his name is mentioned too often when it comes to fraud and corruption]..

but anyway he was afforded all sort of SUPPORT for more than a year and then he was allowed to vote from the independent bench..

I amde the point then.. and I make it agin NOW

once a precedent has been set....as in this case..

it is hard not to let it flow on to everyone else....

you have witnessed that in the musical chairs of PMs in this country... Angry

its how it is......

as we all know this was NSW Libs.. and not Fed Libs...when this went on..

I am appalled to be honest.....and am with you on this...

BUT..

because of previous goings on in the Labor Govt.,...

he has as much right as anyone else does....

What is needed is a public anti-corruption body with the right of publishing the outcomes, including settlements, of issues that involve corruption.

Does anyone seriously accept $200k a year for doing not much, and have no idea what is going on in the organisation? Or even accept such a sum as a public servant, involving a conflict of interest and potential for corrupt behaviour?

I know nuffink.. I see nuffink.. I hear nuffink...

AWH was probably the most perfect example of what actually constitutes the organised crime of installing board members at ridiculous remuneration, often simply because they have access to government decision-making etc, and then seeking to exploit and expand the operation so as to pursue prurient self-interest by 'developing a business opportunity' that takes from the public purse or from the public direct.

This kind of thing is done by both 'sides' of government here and their mates.

Never more clear a sign of the absolute corruption on which our current society is based, and for which Joe and Jo Public pay endlessly.

Even a 'win' such as the downfall of the AWH scam means costs to the public..... all those involved should suffer RICO type restitution laws. Asset strip 'em.....
