yes. When it's from the Attorney general in favour of a political staffer, then that's exactly what it is. Why didn't she get a character reference from her priest?

How do you know she didn't?

Helps to be specific.

.....how would I know?

Anyone can provide a character reference.

It's not unusual for a boss to issue one for an employee?

Brandis was not the Boss of Credlin.  That was Abbott.  Brandis was the shoe polisher 'employed' Attorney General of Abbott.  Penny dropping yet?

She blew 0.075, which is very low.

In fact it's under the drink drive limit in the state of California for example.

Certainly not a big deal for me and I think a non conviction was sensible.

I didn't realise she drunk drove, in California .

I've blown 0.07 whilst driving in San Diego.
I wasn't drunk. The fact she did but was in a different state/country is just nonsense.

Storm in a teacup.

next time you're in OZ, drink until you're .07 and then drive ... see what the judge says about your excuse. You cried over a fine for putting your feet on seats, I can't wait to see your reaction when they ban you from driving.

Peta is required to uphold Australia's laws, not the US's, not Algeria's and not the UK's.

I actually know someone else in Australia, a friend of my dad who blew 0.065 in NSW and didn't get banned but received a warning.
