She blew 0.075, which is very low.

In fact it's under the drink drive limit in the state of California for example.

Certainly not a big deal for me and I think a non conviction was sensible.

It is more than 50% over the legal limit for every State in Australia.  That is the Law whether you like or not.  How did she get to walk away totally unscathed?  I have the same if not better public record than she does, many people would ~ but in Queensland, I would have been convicted, fined and my licence suspended.

No-one gets to put their feet on the seats Mr Hicks, not even you.

Rule of Law.  Look it up, Mr Hicks.

I know someone who had only 2 pots of beer & was exactly 0.05.
It was his first offence.

The magistrate showed no mercy -
& the guy lost his license for 6 months & had a big fine.
He had to go through all sorts of courses & rigmarole to get his license back.

The law is not fair.

You don't lose you licence until you're over .08 ?

Not in Victoria  - 6 months loss for 0.05.

That's not very low at all.

Moreover, she wasn't in the state of California.

She got off because of Liberal Party corruption.

That's a fact that can't be denied, so don't even try.

How is it not fair?

That story seems perfectly fair to me.

Your friend broke the law, and was penalised accordingly.

Nobody should get off. Sure.

The corrupt Liberal Party aside, your friend was treated fairly.

Correct, correct, and correct.

The most corrupt, immoral, and incompetent government in our nation's history.

What offence did he commit, cods?  (Why even mention him anyway.  Isn't this Sunday, not Thursday?)

The penalty for that offence is a $443 fine and the loss of four demerit points.

So, why would he lose his licence?

Moreover, he donated more than $443 to Road Trauma Support Services Victoria.

Tell me what happened to Credlin again.
