One point is obvious here and it proves beyond doubt what a cabal politics really is and that point is that the Republican party would rather have a Democratic government that supports the status quo of big business special interests groups for all rather than a Trump government by and for the people.

The Trump card certainly is not taking money from special interests.

..and I think it will win him the job, ultimately.

Mmm?

Here's a flash, who knows?

Donald Trump won't likely need the full 1,237 delegates to clinch the GOP presidential nomination this summer, but if he gets fewer than 1,000 then there will be a contested convention, a member of the Republican National Convention's Rules Committee said Wednesday.

"What I do expect is this: If Donald Trump exceeds 1,100 votes, he will become the nominee, even though he may not have the 1,237," Randy Evans, a Georgia Republican who also chairs the Republican National Lawyers' Association, told MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program.

Greg, you seriously need to renew your movie clip library with a few new faces . . .but that's not am invitation

You need to realise that Drumpf will never be POTUS.

I'll be throwing this in your face for years to come, when Hillary wins.

my daughter has just come back froma cruise in Sth America....out of 2000 + passengers most were Americans..she said the yanks hate Clinton...they all said anyone but Clinton...they didnt delve like I would have done to find out why....but she said they were very anti her........ so it could be anyones race ....

so maybe you will get a bit thrown in your face for years to come..

I'm thinking it could be Trump... fear is obviously a major playing card but we don't live next to Mexico and I know they are scared of their own people.

THIS isn't even mentioning ISIS and terrorism and the whole 9-11 and ongoing war thing....

I think Trump is a big big chance as political correctness hardly matters if the people are genuinely in need of a solution to multiple concerns.

Shocked

he is certainly saying what people want to hear...

but the old saying'

be careful what you wish for...

could come back and bite them.. its 4 years after all...

a loooooooong time  in politics.

Exactly: they are thinking of the 4 years clinton will deliver as opposed to the gamble of 4 years trump might deliver!

-> if the american people feel they are being backed into a corner they might just find the idea of trump an alluring thing !

Are you allowed to change your opinion here?

It now looks to me that Trump could very well get the nomination. The weight of opinion for him to get it is just building at a quickening pace and the primaries this month are all looking like his to lose. Assuming he wins them as substantially as it seems, it will be impossible for him to be shoved aside.

But of course there is still his mouth to worry about. But that's why we love him.

Here's how the New York Post puts it:

"Donald Trump is a rookie candidate — a potential superstar of vast promise, but making rookie mistakes. . . .

Trump is a do-er. As a businessman, he’s created jobs for thousands. And he’s proven how a private-sector, can-do approach can rip through government red tape and get things done.

These last 10 months, he’s ripped through a different morass — the nation’s stale, insider-driven politics.

And he’s done it by appealing to the public’s anger at a government that’s eternally gridlocked when it comes to serving the people — but always able to deliver for the connected. . . .

Trump is now an imperfect messenger carrying a vital message. . .
He has the potential — the skills, the know-how, the values — to live up to his campaign slogan: to make America great again.

For those reasons, The Post today endorses Donald Trump in the GOP primary.

Quote:
Trump had a number of bankruptcies and failed businesses. By way of context, I have over thirty business failures on my record. Far more if you count Dilbert licensees. A typical startup has about a 10% chance of making it. Trump is entrepreneurial by nature, so you should expect a high number of failures. The number of failures don’t tell you anything.

To judge Trump’s business skill, look for how he managed his personal risk. And apparently he did that well. The bankruptcies protected his personal assets, and his license deals probably pay him a guaranteed advance no matter how well the licensee does. In other words, he made good deals that gave him a big upside but not much downside.
