Oh PLU-EEEEEEZE!

Trump is nothing more than a boring reactionary full of anti-Muslim vilification and paranoia and each day his behavior appears increasingly unhinged.

Oh NOO-OOOOOOOO(ZE!)

No boo hop about it. Just pointing out where you're wrong.

And it seems Ms Intern is not too happy about democracy either.

How DARE someone who isn't part of the exclusive clique of generational political elites attract a fan club to his various causes that puts their Princeton and Harvard lot in jeopardy of being unseated by this upstart?

Herb, I was listening to Hancock last night quoting passages from his diary - which I could transcribe on request - and he referred to his mate Bill as one of the great literary Herberts.
And I was wondering are you related to that family? I'd not heard of them myself.

In 1912 Teddy Roosevelt decided to have another shot at the Presidency after being out of office for 4 years.
When he failed to get the Republican nomination he formed a third party, the Progressive Party (known as the Bull Moosers). The Republican vote was split and Woodrow Wilson went in for the Democrats.

Will history repeat?
(Young Franklin Roosevelt was an enthusiast for Wilson although coming from a rich Republican family. Teddy was his uncle.)

I can read French.

It says it will vaporise anyone you spray it on - (eg. Donald Trump).

Jesus Christ! I couldn't stand the guy. Don't scare me like that. Thanks, but 'No Thanks'. Like music and women these things are highly idiosyncratic to ones taste.

Good Lord, No! Frank Herbert and his 'Dunes' trilogy, etc.?

I once tried to read a Frank Herbert 'Dunes' novel but soon collapsed in utter confusion over the list of names that soon appeared in just the first chapter.

Sorry to disappoint.

You wanted my autograph - right?

You can still have it, but for a modest .. er .. 'consideration'.   Cool

Breitbart:

Radical leftists pushing for an open borders agenda are attempting to destroy the ability of over 80 percent of our nation’s Border Patrol agents to speak out and sound the alarm to the public and to Congress. The Huffington Post reported that the open-borders extremist group, Not1More, is a “prominent immigrants rights group” and that they were behind an effort to have the AFL-CIO kick out the National Border Patrol Council from its ranks. Not1More derives its name from the idea that “not one more” illegal alien should be deported from the U.S.

The attacks on Border Patrol agents ramped up after Breitbart first reported that the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) had endorsed Donald Trump for President. The organization broke from a history of never endorsing during a presidential primary, perhaps largely due to Trump’s stance that the actual Border Patrol agents who guard our nation’s borders should sit at the head of the table for any discussion determining U.S. border security policy. The Trump campaign, through senior policy adviser Stephen Miller, publicly declared that they would secure the border by listening to the agents in the NBPC, thereby giving the agents the ultimate platform to hold Trump accountable if he did not follow through on his promise–and unprecedented move for a presidential candidate.

The NBPC, though a union, poses a unique challenge to traditional conservative ideologues because it is the only legal mechanism for Border Patrol agents to advocate and defends themselves. The group is widely conservative, has a lengthy history of endorsing Republicans, and while conservatives are largely in favor of border security and anti-union, they would have no ability to obtain the information needed to properly secure the border without the NBPC. Border security advocates would have to rely upon politically-appointed bureaucrats in the management of the agency to determine what the realities are along the border were it not for the NBPC providing a mechanism for actual agents who work the border to have a voice.

He's definitely a Herbert.  In the Cockney slang of the time, Herbert means something between Galah and Nerd.  It's most commonly "spotty little herbert"  My favourite Hancock sketch was the Radio Ham.

Well now, Dune was a lot more than a trilogy..at least 6 volumes (I think)  but I can understand why you found it heavy going.. it takes the ability to encompass a lot of information, to get a good idea of the scope of the work.

You lack the attention span, it would seem. Your praise fro Trump demonstrates a huge lack of knowledge... especially when it comes to visions for the future.
