OK I'm back. Smiley
Seems to be a bit better now.

Where were we?  OH yeah that's right  .. you were saying Clinton hasn't put any money in... I reckon close to $1,000,000 is a lot more than nothing. She has been getting a lot of campaign contributions because NO-ONE with any nous really wants to see The Creep as President, and hey who could blame them.?

I mean you have seen the calibre of his small contributors haven't you??   Huh Roll Eyes
If it's possible, they are even stupider than the Creep himself. I wonder how much of his inherited wealth he has lost. All of it, most likely.  Roll Eyes

Maybe you can supply details of his business failures and creditors.. under Section 11.. Just to be FAIR  you know.?

Nevertheless, Clinton HAS contributed nearly $1,000,000
when you said 0%.
As for the Creeps so-called own contributions.. if you believe that you are a chump. Where are the details?? Can't find them can you, whereas Clinton has open books.

And I wish posters wouldn't keep on putting up videosof the Creep. It slows down this topic, and adds nothing but propaganda to no purpose.

But wouldn't that be typical of election campaigns in America.?
I doubt this is any different to earlier campaigns.
Large Contributions to their preferred candidate is surely par for the course.

I doubt funding of earlier campaigns were any different to this one in context or comparison.. There would always have been funding from large corporations for their preferred candidate. Nothing UNUSUAL about it really, is there?
What is so bad about it.? The surprise for me, given your stats, as provided, is that the Creep has allegedly put in so much. Roll Eyes

To me, that means the usual suspects don't want him. Isn't that typical American politics ??

You are presenting these figures as if there is some terrible shift in American  campaigning.
Some sort of conspiracy. Roll Eyes

You appear to be morally outraged.. I don't understand why.. this is just a typical American Presidential campaign,  except that there is a total FUP running. And you like the Fup and hate Clinton.  Really Sprintcyclist, try to be objective, after all it has nothing to do with you really, does it.?

Hi Emma,

I would imagine large corporations have often donated to the candidate that will reward them the most.

the funds have done well off the clintons and obama. Very well indeed. All at the expense of the worker

the working person has done badly in the last decade in the US.

It's what they call "Pay for Access/Pay for Favor".

Typically large corporations who want access/favor will make huge contribution payments to the campaign....sometimes the same corporation will 'hedge their bets' by contributing large sums to both major candidates. Hillary has taken such money (all candidates must report size & from whom they receive large donations from), whereas Trump has not taken large donations. Once reported by the various candidates, & the authorities watch them like a hawk, it becomes part of the Public Record.

JFYI......Candidates are absolutely forbidden, by law, to take any donations from Foreign Countries or individuals......Full Stop.

You or I couldn't legally contribute to a U.S. Presidential Candidate.

The authorities aren't too concerned about small individual contributions....but larger contributions are heavily scrutinized.

It's been reported that Hillary's Clinton Foundation is being looked into by authorities because of multiple  accusations that foreign Middle Eastern & Russian (amongst many others) monies donated into the Foundation for humanitarian causes & purposes are being funneled into her campaign fund illegally. They're talking about tens of millions.
