For starters, I think way too much faith is put in the notion that the President can bring about the changes the electorate may hope for, or the changes promised in election campaigns. With Americans, it is almost as if they want a King, or wizard with a magic wand.

I do not accept anti-Bill Clinton, and Obama propaganda.

If we are going to use FDR as some kind of benchmark, we have to remember that his country, and for that matter the rest of the world, were far less complex in those days.

As for Trump, I think he is an odious character. But while I welcome his remarks about Saudi Arabia and Islam in general, I don't think he will follow through. Perhaps not for lack of will. Saud and Islam have infiltrated the West in such ways that they can muster powerful, monied, resistance using American business against Trump and any change to the status of Muzlims in the West. Meanwhile on the street, Black Muzlims like Farrakan are already working against the secular state.

There are policies that can address the rise of Islam, but they are drastic and require a deliberate and measured strategy along with widespread honesty in the media about Islam's intentions concerning the West. Any piecemeal approach will only serve to disperse the righteous disgust with Muzlim atrocities. First of all, we in the West need to know our enemy, and make intelligent decisions to defeat the cult. I have not seen any indication of this intelligence in Trump's campaign.

I realise the world was simpler in the days of FDR. But people were the same and corruption in government & business were the same.
The Republican party used to be what we would now call "progressive" if you go back to Theodore Roosevelt. Who was it broke the back of the steel & oil combines - not some smooth talking Hillary Clinton, it was a Republican. The same with labour laws and other things.

I think Trump wants to take the GOP back to that. In fact he talks about "taking our party back" which is really why the establishment hate him. The other haters are just bimbos & their male equivalent who understand nothing unless it's on a reality TV show.

Political Correctness and Coward Politics is still the prevailing ethic of David Cameron's Leftwing 'Conservative Party'.

If Trump gets elected, I'm going to enjoy the four years of no-nonsense commentary and criticism he'll be spreading around.

While carpet bombing and taking out relatives of assassins may seem justified, these methods would not be a deterrent to further Muzlim atrocities. Its a pissy-assed small-minded view of the Muzlim Problem. These guys actually believe their own publicity.

They need to start at home by educating the public about the filth in the Koran. That is where terrorism begins. They also need to quarantine the problem, and be prepared to actually get the attention of Islam in a move that shows this is not a political policy, but a unified acceptance of Islam's declaration of war. Not a war on terrorism, a war against Islam and what it stands for.

To win a war, you have to hurt the enemy so bad they beg for mercy. To do that with Islam, we need to use their lack of morals.

And speaking filth. You know about all that hog-waste in Colorado? Mecca.
