i think you are correct but it may even be simpler then that.

He's like the farmer who is too lazy to go weed his field.
Eventually the weeds will invade his crop and take his field. They'll grow up between his toes if he does not take action.

How far can he beat them back?

It was a rhetorical question.
But I'm beginning to think the US needs a constitutional amendment here.
Gone are the days when being technically an American-born citizen is a guarantee of absolute loyalty to the US.

On the other hand............
Well.. when you are denied voting rights because you were charged with possession of Pot.. (as one example) .. you'd feel betrayed by your country.

I would. What a load of crap.

The US govt.. a multiplex structure where no hand knows what the other is doing.! It no longer has loyalty to it's citizens... only to itself.

All those vying Govt Intelligence agencies (oops excuse the oxymoron) .. Roll Eyes

.. the society of the US is rapidly becoming a warring camp of opposing factions.

And so it will go down.

But it's not the real vote though emma so you might be vindicated in the end. In fact it's more likely to go your way, always has been.

But back at the nomination coalface:
New polls put Trump just ahead in Wisconsin, California and still miles ahead in New York, though down from the mad 65 to a more attainable 50. Not sure but that might even be enough to get him 100% of the delegates.
And then Cruz could set about his work of stealing them.
