I've posted this up before, but it marks a seminal moment in American political history for its lack of evasive euphemisms and political correctness terminology.

It's Newt Gingrich commenting on the Muslim Threat without any attempt to hide behind diplomatic language and 'sensitivity' considerations.

California is looming as the nomination decider.
It is a very complicated election. There are about 54 districts and whoever wins the majority in each district gets 3 delegates. Then there are 13 bonus delegates for whoever wins statewide.
It is open only to registered GOP voters, so Trump better be out there getting people registered.

Although the polls show Trump in the lead just now, they may not be a good guide to the delegate outcome. An added complication is districts have different rules about how many ballots delegates are bound to a candidate.

All rooted in the dim dark past.

You'll know the bottom line in June.

As for these Clinton/Trump polls I think they are about as useless as the national polls for Dems & GOP. They give no sense of the intricacies of the Electoral College and they don't allow for turnout variations.
We have seen how the GOP turnout has vastly exceeded that for the Dems. And we have also seen how state-based polls have been more accurate than national polls.
As always it's the poll on the day that counts

All that voluntary voting going on up there! it's shameful and an impious attack on democracy. Australia's Libs and Labs should appeal to the UN and cry foul, compulsory voting or nothing, one would hope they'd iterate profusely at the top of their voices

Apologist.

Do you think Islam is not a crucial motivating factor? They themselves say it is. Why do you think it isn't?

If you could find one of my posts where I state that Islam is not a crucial motivating factor, I would really like to see it.

I'll be here waiting so, off you go ...

So you must be also an apologist if you also recognise that Islam is a crucial motivator in these attacks.

How are you different from others who see the connection and the motivation? Why are they apologists but not you?

Incorrect.

I recognise the motivation, but don't allow it to be used as an excuse.

I blame the individuals for the deaths.

The apologists blame a silly set of beliefs (and beliefs can't kill).

That's the difference, my boy.

Are you an apologist?

Trump was nowhere more right in his foreign policy statement than with respect to Europe.
Why should the US go on defending Europe, paying for NATO? When they show no sign of wanting to defend themselves.
As I said elsewhere, when there is a massacre they have their light shows & flowers but there is no sign of fighting back. There is no retaliation as there should be. In fact there appears to be no anger.

The Pope washes the feet of the refugees instead of having them cut off.

I make no apology for my black humour. It is a tradition I enjoy.
Therefore I burst into laughter when I read about the move to allow open carry at the GOP convention.

Do they mean OK Corral rules?

Trump v Cruz at Colt 45 range. The survivor gets two women.

By the way, did you know Kasich came in 4th in a 3 way race this week. That's right, Rubio actually got more votes than him and he wasn't in the race
And this man thinks he's entitled to be nominated.

We all blame the individuals while recognising what motivates them. I don't see how you can separate these things.

If an individual murders because of greed or whatever and we recognise that his motivation was greed and jail him (not jailing his motivation but the individual)  - how is that apology for anything? In any determination of crime, motive is crucial. Identifying motive is not an apology for anything.

You don't make sense.

Donald J Trump is GOING to be the President.

The nomination is all but secured. The Democrat vote is in disarray with low turnout, black apathy & millennial disillusion. Hillary is on the nose.

We hold these truths to be self- evident . . .when governments are failing to properly represent their people it's time for a big change.

Donald Trump is going to deliver as much of that change as his eight years will allow.

Gingrich's private lobbying for Trump comes as a big surprise. The last I saw of Gingrich he was giving Trump a walloping, but as they say - "A week is a long time in politics".

link

"“[Mr. Trump] knew that the people who perpetrated the Paris atrocities, many of them had come from Brussels,” Mr. Gingrich continued. “He has business friends who go to and from the European Union in Brussels, and his business friends are saying to him, ‘It’s out of control.’ So he reports the obvious, everybody else thinks he’s stupid because he’s the only guy saying it, and now here we are several months later.”

“The fact is, Donald Trump was right,” he said.

Mr. Trump was criticized in January when he said “there is something bad going on” in Brussels.

“There is something going on and it’s not good, where they want Shariah law, where they want this, where they want things that — you know, there has to be some assimilation. There is no assimilation. There is something bad going on,” Mr. Trump said at the time. “You go to Brussels — I was in Brussels a long time ago, 20 years ago, so beautiful, everything is so beautiful — it’s like living in a hellhole right now.”

Well so I said that, but that was last week.
You don't want to believe what I say necessarily but you are certainly free to do so.
If you are in New York be sure to vote for Donald.
