Ad infinitum Keep incrementing the denominator by 2 alternatively adding and subtracting the fraction. (The previous post was tongue in cheek)

It takes a lot of iterations (about 1 million) to get a significant number of decimal places, but you can produce a series up to say 1000. Take the average of the high and low pairs for the last 100, then take the average of the high and low pairs for the averages. Using that technique, you'll save computing time and get Pi to enough decimal places to see the six 9s in a row.
