The people who are against vaccination just don't accept that there is always a risk with any medication. They expect a risk-free environment.

But it doesn't work that way. You have to stack the miniscule risk, which does exist, against the overwhelming benefit for society as a whole.

No! Victims of harm from vaccinations face denial by Governments and drug companies and rejection by society. The government and drug companies promote the vaccinations and they should be willing to accept responsibility and bear the costs and support the victims of harm from vaccinations.

They face denial because they are wrong, not because they are stupid.

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

If you don't want vaccinations fine but do the rest of us a favour and go live in isolation, so you don't go infecting the rest of us when you get whooping cough or whatever!

Find somewhere where you can hunt and fish because you won't be drawing your bludger payment from the government either.

We just need to get a few anti-vax campaigners prosecuted for murder or manslaughter.

We first fought the heathens in the name of religion, then Communism, and now in the name of drugs and terrorism. Our excuses for global domination always change.

He very well may be, but the principle is right if causation is reasonably established.

nope. correlation and causation are two entirely different and unrelated concepts.
