You do it. Why can't others?

mariacostel wrote on Mar 8th, 2016 at 11:52am:
how about you make the claim that the average worker is WORSE OFF in the 30 years since that statement. Then WE can laugh at you as per the photo.

Casualisation of the Australian workforce is rising, permanent full-time jobs are getting scarce. Millions of Australians don't have work that's stable enough to get a bank loan, far more than 30 years ago, both in absolute numbers and as a percentage of the work force.

Trickle down is a MYTH.

How about you quote ACTUAL FIGURES, because unemployment is far lower than back in the 70s and house ownership is still the highest in the world. Permanent jobs getting scarce? WHAT RUBBISH! The 'job for life' has certainly gone, but thats no loss to a worker with any skills.

I do love the silly statement that less people are getting bank loans now IN ABSOLUTE NUMBERS than 30 years ago.

You are your own worst enemy with foolishness like that.

Why should I waste my time pandering to you when you never, ever provide links to support your own figures, which more often than not turn out to be made-up nonsense?

What happened to the wealth divide during the mining boom? It GREW. So much for that. Where did this supposed wealth go? Here's a clue.

http://cdn.themetapicture.com/pic/images/2014/10/22/funny-glass-wine-trickle-dow...

You can try to prove that trickle down works, but you would be lying if you did. Because you can't make any credible argument, you don't bother. That's why you spend all your time sniping at others and behaving like a bridge full of trolls with machine guns.

And if you want "actual figures", you need to go and spend about three weeks replying to a couple of thousand requests for you to provide your own figures in hundreds of threads going back several years. You've got a lot of work to do, so get busy. Chop chop!!

Love your surrender. How stupid were you to claim there are less successful bank loans now than 40 years ago when we are in the tail end of a building boom.

You are just beyond stupid sometimes and don't take kindly to an intelligent person criticising your transparent idiocy.

It's not a surrender to demonstrate your blatant hypocrisy and to refuse to pander to obvious trolls like you.

And personal abuse as well. Reported.

typical drive from pebbles.

the proof of the pudding is to ask if the standard of living of the poor has risen in the last 50 years or dropped.  the answer is obvious. 50 years ago, the poor in our country starved. now they are merely 'forced' to buy a cheaper iphone

trickle down has always worked but greed and envy blind the eyes.

Rubbish, and you're posting from the wrong account.  Grin

The poor in this country still starve, otherwise why are there still soup kitchens for the homeless?

Why don't you head over to the lib corruption thread and throw your support for anti-corruption?  Or are you that blind that you think it doesn't happen from libs?

.....it's individuals that are corrupt...not political parties.  I'm sure all parties have their share of eff-wits.

Funny though how you seem to forget this whenever you make another predictable diatribe against "unions".

You're in favour of political corruption as long as it benefits Liberals. If not, why haven't you already denounced individual Coalition members for their misconduct?

you're still an idiot. the degree of starvation is massively reduced. That didnt happen for any other reason than economic growy-th - driven by all the people you hate - business owners, rich people etc.

Nope, wrong again. Maybe you should stop being wrong?

American data, sure, but thats where this harebrained theory comes from, and it doesnt work there, so why should it work here?

no  study can debunk observable facts. people are a lot more prosperous now than 50 years ago. And it was ALL driven by economic growth from above.

Yes they can.

Show your proof. Its clear that you have drunk the trickling kool aid, but what evidence do you have for it? What if we could have been even more prosperous as a nation, had we been taxing people a decent amount?

I do hope you have reported it to Mr Hicks especially, given he is now on record as stating that to refer to a Member as an idiot is personal abuse/criticism, and that is exactly what the Rule proscribes.

His very words of yesterday:

Quote:
Calling a poster an idiot is personal abuse.

Citation needed. Which you won't provide because you're wrong. As usual. Hint: 1946.

Also I don't hate businesses, that's a lie. But that doesn't stop you, you just make up crap and hope you don't get called on it.
