a knob end with big balls. I think this is what irritates the feminine posters here, his masculinity. Thats not in vogue anymore.

And all Israeli soldiers are thugs.

If only the world were as simple as some people.

Firstly, where did i ever say all Israeli soldiers were thugs? You shouldn't just make stuff up Andrei, tempting as it may be.

And isn't that post somewhat of a personal attack? I thought you were supposed to be above such things?

Feeling testy?

A rather creative interpretation. I suppose if it helps you imagine the balls of TOnes as being on the large side, goooo for it.

I still think he was just a dickhead with no impulse control.

He had the guts to make unpopular decisions and faced off Indonesia over the people smuggling issue.

No. That's not what i mean. I mean no impulse control. That's why he lost his position.

Simply couldn't manage himself.

Nah, he lost his position because he wouldnt sack Peta Credlin. I even predicted it, right here on this forum. You wouldnt understand alien concepts like loyalty.

No he lost his position because he kept running off at the mouth and putting his foot in it. He was unelectable. Credlin contributed, sure, but the damage was done by Tones alone.

He lost his position because he lied about every major policy area that counts. He could no longer be trusted by Australian voters. He burnt all his political capital defending the indefensible, and he backflipped on it all in the end anyway.

Balls? About what? He changed his mind on everything. In two years he went from a reformist prime minister making the tough decisions to the workers’ best friend buying their votes. The age of entitlement came back. The budget emergency faded into obscutity. In the end, the electorate no longer listened to him. His slogans became jokes. The speedos symbolised this - they highlighted his nakedness. The emperor was wearing no clothes, and this finally caught on.

Under-promise and over-deliver. Say what you’ll do and do what you say. Thank heavens the grown-ups are back in charge.

I do miss him, you know.
