No the hard right doesn't engage in that kind of activity, unlike the hard left.

Especially Alan Jones at London beats. He didn't swallow, so it doesn't count.

Were you there? That would explain how you know so much about it.

Matty, these leftards are appalling with their awful smear. Without a doubt, Mr Abbott looks much better in his speedos.

Thank you for coming back, and thank you for raising the important issues.

Before long, Australians everywhere will come to realise what a great prime minister Mr Abbott really was.

In all seriousness, it is a serious issue. Abbott is constantly criticised for things that others are not. The drinking of beer on St Patrick's Day was another example.

There's a pretty clear difference. Turnbull isn't pretending to be some sort of he-man, sex symbol, douchebag. Abbott, on the other hand, is way impressed by how those budgie smugglers show off his manhood.

You sure he isnt wearing them because everyone else who performs the same sport wears them? You guys seem to have  fetish for Abbotts baggage. theres plenty to dislike about Abbott, being an athlete isnt one of them.

Surprised to see you support Abbott, but I agree. I myself do competitive swimming and always wear speedos. There is nothing wrong with it whatsoever. The double standard is also annoying.

omg get over it. Tony was a sh1t pm. He was mocked because he was an 1d1ot who proved himself to be backwards on more than just the budgie smugglers. The country nearly collapsed under the 1d1ot, we should all be thankful to Malcolm for removing him and ridding us of the m0r0n.

Yet again you miss the point, but else to expect from a moron like you.

It is about the double standard, nothing to do with what you think of their capabilities as PM.

You seem to be under the misapprehension that I formed my opinion of the man, based on a single photograph. Not so... just one example of a pattern he, himself (perhaps with the help of some spin doctors), set.

Why, though? What makes you think that? Why couldn't it just be that he likes participating in these competitions, and just likes surfing/swimming in general?

Why must there be some ulterior motive?

He was the best PM we’ve had in a long time, Matty. The leftards just can’t bring themselves to admit it.

1. We're building up a full portfolio against Turnbull before we let him have it with both barrels...

2.  The voting public is still dumbfounded that such an innocuous used car salesman could be the PM, and is still recovering from the shock

3.  The voting public is breathlessly waiting for his biggest gaffe and in the meantime are falling off their bar stools regularly and guffawing while rolling on the floor at the antics of his government

4. The voting public is mourning the loss of Abbott and Hockey, the greatest comedy team ever put together for Australia, and is in denial over their replacement by a slick talking hoo-haa man...

5.  The voting public simply cannot believe it is true that Turnbull is PM, so they are choosing to ignore the whole thing while waiting for the joke line.

Politician.

Body language.

Smarmy bastard.

I know what Turnbull is. He's lawyer/accountant/manager. Honestly conservative.

Abbott is a wannabe at the pub, pissing in people's pockets.

it wasn't the drinking of beer, it was the suggestion that all Irish are alcoholics. Which may in part be true for the St Patricks celebration, but nonetheless an elected representative shouldn't say that about an ally. How would you like it if the Irish PM said that Tony was a budgie smuggler wearing m0 r0n? You wouldn't like it - even if it is true.

Why was Abbott criticised but Turnbull isn't??

Turnbull gets plenty of criticism. The issue you see may be just that he is playing small target leadership, as long as he does nothing there is little to be critical about.

While this is far from good government it has worked for him to a point.

It is the old idiom that you can do nothing and leave some doubt or do something and prove that you really are a fool.

Why do you think they are seriously looking at a DD before they produce another budget. Fairly obvious that producing a fair acceptable budget is beyond their capability.

Turnbull clearly would like to go to an election without doing anything.

It seems that Abbott isn't the only Liberal leader to like budgy smugglers, but is the only one to be criticised for it.

What a load of crap....I am sure you could find an article in the Australian praising Abbott or some rubbish on Facebook ridiculing Turnbull, no one is beyond criticism but this comparison is bullshit....Abbott is criticised because he was unable to Govern but most of all lied to the public and then tried to deny it!!!

Huh Huh Huh

Did you even bother reading what I wrote? It is just about them both wearing speedos but only Abbott being criticised.
