I'm wondering why no one has considered this sooner. Look at the size of the baby. How does a baby that can't even crawl pull a pot of boiling water (which by comparison would be like an adult male trying to lift a bag of cement over his head) off a table up high onto herself?

No you didn't, otherwise your 1st comment would not have been made, as the article clearly states several times that the wound is the result of an accident.

Quote:
The allegations against the mother are at odds with Lady Cilento Hospital records stating the child spilt hot water on her chest and that there is "no evidence that the burn injury is non-accidental".

Quote:
"This family has been in hospital for three weeks surrounded by people trained to pick up any hint of abuse. The only abuse doctors picked up was that the baby was at risk if she was sent back to detention in the care of the minister," she said.

Much like yesterday's "DEPOSITS" Dutton is once again in La La land

Please tell us all how a 12 month-old baby girl that can't walk - let alone crawl - can reach up to a table and pull a pot or kettle of boiling water onto herself. Even if she only grabbed the table cloth dangling over the side of the table, babies do not have the manual dexterity or strength in their hands that is required to accomplish such a feat. My two son's at 12 months barely had the strength to hold one of my fingers. So please, prove me wrong.

Are you feeding them?

I don't think you've actually had any contact with children, have you?

Must like you're a business owner, nurse, & now apparently a farmer on the north coast or some such sh#t.

Is your name Peter Dutton?

Here read this BEFORE trying to spin a story about children next time

Quote:
Around now your baby's play will probably start changing from mastering his fine motor skills (he's got that thumb-and-forefinger grasp down pat) to exercising larger muscles. Some children this age have an attention span of two to five minutes for quiet activities - though your baby's favourite games may not be all that quiet.

He probably thinks it's fun to push, throw, and knock everything down
. He'll give you a toy as well as take one, and likes games where he can put things such as blocks in containers and dump them out. This also works with pots and pans - he can put little ones inside bigger ones, as well as thrill to the loud sounds they make when banged together.

Gawd, you really are quite stupid if you think a 12 month-old baby has the strength to do this. But hey, that's you, right? Grin Grin Grin

They're the lowest of the low.

Who would have thought that the Libs could get any worse?

"The medical report in this case clearly states that there is no evidence the injury was non-accidental.

"When it comes to who to trust out of Peter Dutton or the medical professionals who are trying to protect children on Nauru, I know who I'll back every time,"

What's even worse are the rightards on here (and in the wider community) who continue to support these corrupt, unscrupulous, lying rats.

So lets get this straight , a baby has to the strength to lift its own body weight at 9 months and take steps but you think it couldn't move a bowl of hot water?

Indeed.

Why do people continue to support scum like Dutton, at the expense of innocent little children?

Why did you support Labor and the Greens when people were drowning by the thousands between 2007-13?
