faark me this government is completely unhinged.

How dare a premier express concern over the welfare of a baby under our care.
The nice people don't care about the children who are going to drown if they get people smuggling up and going again.

People smuggling hasn't stopped.

The boats haven't stopped.

People are still drowning.

Not under Australian jurisdiction. If the rest of the world can't control their borders that's their problem.

Thus, it's YOU who doesn't care about children drowning.

Thanks for making that crystal clear.

You're wrong. I don't like  the idea of children drowning. It's people smuggling supporters like you who obviously want it to occur. Kids wouldn't drown if the world had my opinion on the matter.

You have no problem with children drowning in the rest of the world.

You have made this crystal clear.

"If the rest of the world can't control their borders that's their problem."

You sure get confused easily. Let me dumb it down for you even more. He said he's glad people are no longer drowning off our coast. He didn't say that he's glad they're drowning elsewhere. It's not up to our government to dictate how governments along the Med run their immigration policies. Nor is it our fault if a boat sinks in the Med.

You both have no problem with children drowning (or being blown up) in the rest of the world.

You have made this crystal clear.

"If the rest of the world can't control their borders that's their problem."

Too late for backpedaling.

What's that comment got to do with kids drowning. That comment means they are making their own problems. It's beyond Australia's power to fix it.

It's ok. Peccahead has been exposed for what he is - just a troll looking for cheap shot one-liners - and he's grasping at straws now.

Really???

People smuggling is a crime in both Indo & Aust.

If you "KNOW" 14K of people have paid deposits, one would assume you would know to who those deposits went & therefore could arrest & break up this apparently lucrative speculation on Australian Immigration Laws.

My bet seeing as the interview ended with dickhead dutton rabbiting on about "Union Bosses" running the country is he wouldn't actually have a clue or any evidence of the deposits & is lying his arse off.

"We know there are about 14,000 people in Indonesia today who would get on boats tomorrow."

He never said 14,000 people had pre-paid people smugglers with the intention of getting on a boat to come here. He said that there are about 14,000 people in Indonesia today who would get on boats tomorrow. That's entirely different. Who da dickhead? YOU DA DICKHEAD!!!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I wrote my response based on how the DT wanted the article perceived.(I even highlighted those 2 things)

Putting deposits & 14k in the same sentence what does Mr pleb remember when recalling the article?

14K have paid deposits.

My question still stands, why haven't those who accepted these "Deposits" been arrested?

Because there are no deposits, it just sounded great.

Because if they had it would have been on the front page of our favourite political daily & posted in gloating terms by our favourite lapdog.

Can you guess either?

its sickening...

if they had the opportunity I wouldn't put it passed them to feed a child mouse bait to put it in hospital just so that they can Grandstand...

I suppose the other solution is for Government to ensure better Hospital/Medical facilities on Nauru.  If that happened, there'd be no need for sick people to be sent to Australia for treatment.

I was going to take this seriously but then I realised that the criticism was only the ravings of a lunatic.

Quote:
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton yesterday slammed Ms Palaszczuk for sending a message to smugglers in Indonesia that Australia’s tough policy would soon be changed.

But Aussie Mr Dutton has told us the facilities on Nauru are better than regional hospitals in Australia.

Quote:
Immigration Minister Peter Dutton said the new wing of the hospital was better than some rural hospitals.

I just LOVE the IRONY in that comparison.

Yeas, 'you'd' love a chance to ask him which of our rural hospitals were worse than what is offered by our Government on Nauru.
