I was only just this week telling a cousin of mine that if and when I'm diagnosed with dementia or any of the paralysing disorders such as multiple sclerosis, I would then buy a one-way ticket to the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland for an easy send off.

Needless to say, if gun-ownership was allowed in Australia without all the crap you have to go through with joining a club and having to attend shooting ranges once a month (or whatever it is) - then I wouldn't have to pay several thousand dollars for the trip and the humanitarian service provided by this organisation.

The guns are all roped up on cables now!

Now be fair, Bobby. We've learnt that the vast majority of these killings are self-administered Mercy Killings.

The US condones judicial killings in several states, but it's illegal to set up a euthanasia clinic for the terminally ill or those with long term illnesses that reduce quality of life to not being worth the experience of waking up every day.

I've had several cats Mercy Killed over the years with the cooperation of the law and veterinary professionals.
