Over 30,000 Americans die from accidental falls every year, over 35,000 kill themselves by accidental poisoning every year.

Of the 30,000 who die from guns about 20,000 of them are suicides, do you care about the other 20,000 who kill themselves every year in the USA or just the ones who use a gun?

A suicide is still a tragedy -

There are 40,000 suicides in the USA every year and your post only shows concern for the 20,000 who use a gun, do the other 20,000 who kill themselves without a gun deserve as much attention or is it only those who use a gun you worry about?

Phil Bolger is someone I knew in the USA who shot himself, he was in his 80's and didn't want to end up like previous generations of his family who suffered from Dementia and Alzheimers,he had planned to kill himself instead of suffering from dementia.
The largest demographic for firearm suicides is white males over 65.

What about all the kids who find a gun at home  & shoot a sibling thinking it was a game?

Gun-nuts don't listen to facts, or reason, sir Bobby.

Far more kids die from drowning every year yet nobody calls for Americans to adopt our laws on pool fences.

My father had a dozen guns in his bedroom wardrobe when I was a kid, of course I checked them out with friends yet nobody got shot because my father didn't leave any ammo around, my grandfathers .303 was the only lethal weapon because it had a bayonet.

You're joining issues: the thread is about guns!

Was he supposed to start talking about pools drownings for no reason just in case you wanted to talk about pool drownings in a thread that had nothing to do with pool drownings!

I'm sure the definition for trolling is in the above somewhere, btw!  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Relax ... It's mostly a Darwinian culling, Bobby.

The vast majority
of this 33,000 would be human vermin in the drugs trade.

Criminals wasting criminals, or Korean shopkeepers blowing away Negroes trying to rob their tills.

It's just an annual culling that keeps the jails from overflowing with Negroes and Hispanics.

A much-appreciated sanitation service which reduces the chance of decent American citizens getting mugged in the streets and raped in their homes.

God Bless America.

Not very methodical thinking given that type of guesswork!

Wonderful news.

I was only just this week telling a cousin of mine that if and when I'm diagnosed with dementia or any of the paralysing disorders such as multiple sclerosis, I would then buy a one-way ticket to the Dignitas clinic in Switzerland for an easy send off.

Needless to say, if gun-ownership was allowed in Australia without all the crap you have to go through with joining a club and having to attend shooting ranges once a month (or whatever it is) - then I wouldn't have to pay several thousand dollars for the trip and the humanitarian service provided by this organisation.

Americans know that you are far more likely to be killed by a lightning strike than killed by a gun, unless you are black drug dealer of course, in which case black drug dealers can frolic gaily in the worst electrical storm safe in knowledge that they are far more likely to be killed by a gun than killed by a lightning strike  Cheesy

It's a catastrophe - like having a 9/11 every month.

.. or even a 9-11 ten plus one times a month even: that'd be like having a 9-11 every 2 to 3 days!

Huh Huh
