Hard righters are such blatant law breakers.

We don't destroy legal GM crops. We don't chain ourselves to tractors. We don't vandalise mining equipment. You ought to look more carefully at your own mob before accusing others of breaking the law. Bob Brown was arrested not long ago over legal forestry work.

New protest laws in WA 'a threat to civil liberties'

New laws in Western Australia aimed at criminalising so-called "radical protests" are undemocratic and a threat to basic civil liberties, lawyers say.

Police Minister Liza Harvey said the laws were specifically aimed at protesters who used devices such as thumb and arm locks, which require a skilled technician to remove.

In an unusual step, the laws reversed the onus of proof, meaning police would be able to arrest anyone they thought was about to break the law.

Libs = Facists

Greens = eco terrorists. You halfwits have no right to chain yourself to earthmoving or mining equipment if they have the legal right to be going about their work. If it were up to me, I'd tell the guy with the chainsaw to cut their arms off instead of spending time hacking off the locks. You fools have no right to disrupt people going about their rightful jobs whether you disagree with what they do or not. If you disagree, then the correct venue for your grievances is in the court system.

Actually people have every right to protest.

Some justifiably desperate people will take risks to find freedom. While Asha's injury was accidental, this decision may motivate others to exploit illness or injury to replicate the outcome
As psychologist Paul Bloom has said: "If you want to be good and do good, empathy is a poor guide". Empathy favours an individual over many, stirring emotions that clouds rational decision-making. It's why we care more about an individual in dire straits than a genocide overseas.

Probably tripped over a tent peg of one of the luxuriously appointed Nauru abodes coming back from communal water heating source.

Now the government has back peddled on Baby Asha ... now for all the other refugees in the offshore gulags.

How long before the baby is smuggled out of the country back to Nauru under cover of darkness?

Not long ...

Baby Asha transferred from Lady Cilento Hospital to community detention, will return to Nauru, Peter Dutton confirms

Absolutely, but not to disrupt workers going about their job as they have a legal right to do.

Thanks for the update, Bam.

Dutton is holding firm on not letting Australia be blackmailed.

His refusal to hand these people over to NZ is, of course, because he knows very well that NZ has long been a sneaky backdoor entryway into Australia after they've secured their NZ citizenship papers.

Well done, Dutton.

Babygate.

I'm putting a poll up.

I haven't the slight doubt - absolute ZERO - that Asha and family will end up in Australia on a whole bunch of Welfare benefits and be 'celebrated' and hosted by the ABC and SBS channels.

Anyone with tits is not allowed to vote. This includes you, of course, karnal.
