Italy bans islam
Feb 15th, 2016 at 3:11pm

Quote:
Italy has denied religious status to Islam.
Politicians cited extremist (fundamentalist) imams, polygamy and failure to uphold women's rights by Muslim immigrants as obstacles to recognizing Islam as an official
religion in Italy.

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

In most other countries the President of Iran would be in a mental institution.

Then where would the President of America be in most countries? sleeping in a cardboard box under a bridge?  Grin

Iran ran rings around America over the Iraq war. Installed their own groomed Iraqi leaders into government, and virtually stole Iraq under America's nose.

They even convinced Russia into Syria.

Don't underestimate the Iranians.

All of it needs to go.

But definitely when it comes to evilness/stupidity of religion, the rank has to be 1. Islam and followed very closely behind is  2. Catholicism/Christianity.

The 'they are all the same' bromide - it's m0ronic.   Only a brainless PC monkey could resort to 'Hey, they are all the same' - that way he can stay an unthinking monkey.

If you stopped even for a minute to think you would realise that not all religions and creeds are the same and that the fruits of Catholicism and of Islam are vastly and starkly different.

But a minute is too long when idiotic, moronic PC BS beckons you.

do you know how to read? Where did I say they are all the same? I said all religion has to go. And on a RANK, which fundamentally implies I don't think they are the same, the worst religions are islam followed closely by Catholicism/Christianity.

So when are they going to kick George Clooney and his Muslim wife out? He's now gobbing off about countries allowing yet more Muslims in.

...

Hasn't he converted yet?

What ever the political perspective: left, right, or inside-out, I read a lot of wishful-thinking on this forum. People love to crow about their views coming to ascendency. In the west, most things stumble along in middle of the road mediocrity. (How's that for alliterative alliances?)

The Italian initiative, as positive as it is, will likely run into all kinds of opposition from the EU, the UN, and Amnesty International to mention a few. We have to remember that the upper echelon of Western adminstrations are peopled with the enemies of freedom. It is not that its a big conspiracy of villains; in some cases, they mean well. In other cases they don't want to upset the apple cart, even if it means a massacre or two.

For this initiative to be productive, it needs to be part of a raft of policies to restrict the spread of Islam, and publicise the reality of its intention towards other cultures. That will not happen while leaders left an right blow a smoke screen between their voters and the undermining of pluralism. Good luck to the Italian people, they'll need it.

That is just stupid.

If you look at any civilisation - any - you will see that they are all built around a system of belief, most of them being a religion. And so you will see, if only you bothered to look, that
civilisations create societies in the image of their gods
. And once you perceived that, you would then see that it makes a massive difference what kind of understanding and perception you have of the supernatural and the transcendental. The sh!tehole societies have demons for gods (viz Haiti, Araby, animist Africans). The noice societies have lovingkindness kinda gods and therefore cooperative, tolerant, lovingkindness kinda societies.

Are you an ijit on purpose or are you simply oblivious?
As Honky points out for the thickos like you at the back of the class, Italy didn't ban Islam.

It just doesn't recognise it AS a religion.

And if you now ask what the difference is then complete m0ronic ijit is correct.

Oh.  Personally I'd put it at number 1.

Ok.

Good to see we are in agreement that religion should be banned.

No.  That's a silly idea.

But you support banning some religions, why not all?

Are you an ijit on purpose or are you simply oblivious?
As Honky points out for the thickos like you at the back of the class, Italy didn't ban Islam.

It just doesn't recognise it AS a religion.

And if you now ask what the difference is then complete m0ronic ijit is correct.

decrepit foreskin, did I do such a thing? But I propose we cancel recognitions of ALL religions. Much better.

Please, when we had an aristocracy that was built around religion and state being as one we saw no beloved gawd. We saw a d1ck gawd who killed people for stealing bread.

Only when we created secular societies did our societies become very nice. And still, dickhead religious losers try to influence, and each time they try to influence it results in some kind of depravity or discrimination.

Hence, let's just cancel recognition of all religion. No more. You can believe in hocus pocus if you like, but don't expect any recognition of such stupid belief.

It's pretty stupid to pay people to undermine your society and values, if not murder your citizens, as Italy was doing.

With this in mind, I'd certainly defund every synagogue at the very least.

Agreed. Defund the synagogue for paying to murder citizens.
Defund catholicism for being used by the mafia for the exact same thing.

In fact, I'd go as simple as defund all of it for making people stupid.

The left regard the muslim as their saviors, they believe that they have been sent from the middle east in order to help subjugate what the left regards as the real threat to mankind ie. the free thinking right wing market place advocate conservative.

A totally free society relegates leftards and muslims to the bottom rung of the ladder, basically loser status, and this is why they fight tooth and nail against the capitalistic system.

Do you think? If Corey Bernardi and Donald Trump are anything to go on, I'd say there's a few others who see the Muslim as their saviors too, Innocent. Mr Abbott was so keen on invading ISIS, he sought advice from the public service on staging his own invasion. Why?

They're Muslims.

And let's not forget George W Bush. Remember, after Sept 11, he went and invaded Iraq instead of Saudi Arabia. Sure, he got his countries mixed up, but you can see how.

They both have Muslims.

Where does Judaism rank on this list?

Somewhere between Christianity and Buddhism.

Can you explain why you would rank Christianity as worse than Judaism? Do you have a problem with what Jesus said or did?

just compare where it's ugly head roars supreme vs where judaism's ugly head roars supreme.

The very idea that 40% of Americans don't believe in evolution should be justification.

so split it up then. Get them to register charities, but keep the church nonsense separate.

I asked you if you had a problem with what Jesus said or did. Are you now saying that Christianity is worse than Judaism because the old testament reflects badly on Christianity?

So what? Break up the services - anything offering mumbo jumbo is not tax free. Charity work is tax free.

And when did I say i had specific problems with what jebus said or did? Jebus was a philosopher. It's what his followers have decided to believe in that's the problem.

Of course you didn't say. Why would you respond to the question I actually asked? Let us try this again. Do you have specific problems with what jebus said or did?

It is what his followers believe that defines who Jesus is. What other record do we have?

The mumbo jumbo is always free. It's the things you have to pay for that the money is spent on.

Last I checked christianity was not solely about what jebus said. Do I have a problem with a jebus teaching? not that I can think off the top of my head. Do I have a problem something jebus did? Well, the whole water into wine thing to start with.

But again, Christianity is not solely about what jebus said and is defined by its followers and what they believe in. And the crazy ones, just like crazy muslims, crazy jews, etc, believe in some crazy sh1t.

As for the church - I'd find it hard to argue that the church predominately does charitable work.  As such, money donated that goes towards non charitable work should not be tax free.

What don't you like about that? It sounds like a pretty cool party trick to me. Are you saying that after all the rape and pillage, this is what sticks in your mind as bad?

Of course you would. You manage to find a problem with someone turning water into wine. Fortunately you don't get to decide what counts as charitable.

Free wine for example?

I tell you what, if the church can turn water into wine (by the click of their fingers) then by all means they can keep their charity status. Until then I don't think it's wise to make people dumber through make belief nonsense.

Is there some reason you consistently misspell Jesus' name?  You know very well it's not "jebus".  I'd consider that to be deliberate disrespect.

You just finished explaining that the water into wine trick was a reason for opposing charitable status. Have you decided not to have a problem with it after all?

How do we really know?  For all we know it was jebus.

You seem confused and again seem to think Christianity is solely about what  jebus said and did.  It isnt.

Because it comes from the simpsons, not any historical source.

I repeat - you know very well it's not "jebus", so why do you consistently misspell it?

I am confused about whether you have a problem with the water into wine trick.

When making a distinction between Christianity and Judaism, which is what you did and what I asked about, Jesus is pretty much the extent of it.

yeh but we need to also consider the number of followers and the extent of damage that can be caused. Hence why I said islam -> christianity -> Judaism. Terrible religions. Just get rid of them. Cause nothing but pain for people. And a lot of stupid thinking.

well done Italy!

And now, do the same to Catholicism too please.

What about Protestants? Buddhists? Taoists? Judaism?

All of it needs to go.

But definitely when it comes to evilness/stupidity of religion, the rank has to be 1. Islam and followed very closely behind is  2. Catholicism/Christianity.

Where does Judaism rank on this list?

Somewhere between Christianity and Buddhism.

Nothing about number of followers here Alevine. It sounds like you were judging the religion itself. And you would have a hard time putting Judaism above Buddhism if you are taking the number of followers into account. Hinduism has about 80 times as many followers, and Buddhism nearly 40. You must have some major issues with Jews to do that.

Oh that reminds me, I also forgot Hinduism!!

Why are you thinking there can only be one assessment criteria? Of course we have to consider numbers when determining the extent of the damage that can be caused by religious nut jobs.

1 Christianity and Judaism are worse than Buddhism when it comes to the sh1t they make people believe.  Although extreme Buddhism in itself isn't exactly saintly, far from it.
2. Christianity has more followers than Judaism, and overall more within the power structures in the world.

Hence, Christianity -> Judaism -> Buddhism

Hindus, I mean... The whole untouchables thing and dowry thing... Perhaps it can even go next to Christianity or just below it and above Judaism?

Sikhs... Well they make good kebabs and feed people without the need to talk about gawd. So perhaps they are okay.

looks like germans want muzzies out  too

ONLOOKERS celebrated as a fire damaged a former hotel being converted into a refugee home in eastern Germany, police said on Sunday, raising new concerns about violence toward migrants in a nation that registered more than a million asylum-seekers last year.

The suspicious blaze in the roof of the building in Bautzen, in the eastern state of Saxony, broke out overnight. Police said no one was injured but a group of people gathered outside, some “commenting with derogatory remarks or unashamed joy” at the fire..........
