The churches are the charities.

I asked you if you had a problem with what Jesus said or did. Are you now saying that Christianity is worse than Judaism because the old testament reflects badly on Christianity?

So what? Break up the services - anything offering mumbo jumbo is not tax free. Charity work is tax free.

And when did I say i had specific problems with what jebus said or did? Jebus was a philosopher. It's what his followers have decided to believe in that's the problem.

Of course you didn't say. Why would you respond to the question I actually asked? Let us try this again. Do you have specific problems with what jebus said or did?

It is what his followers believe that defines who Jesus is. What other record do we have?

The mumbo jumbo is always free. It's the things you have to pay for that the money is spent on.

Last I checked christianity was not solely about what jebus said. Do I have a problem with a jebus teaching? not that I can think off the top of my head. Do I have a problem something jebus did? Well, the whole water into wine thing to start with.

But again, Christianity is not solely about what jebus said and is defined by its followers and what they believe in. And the crazy ones, just like crazy muslims, crazy jews, etc, believe in some crazy sh1t.

As for the church - I'd find it hard to argue that the church predominately does charitable work.  As such, money donated that goes towards non charitable work should not be tax free.

What don't you like about that? It sounds like a pretty cool party trick to me. Are you saying that after all the rape and pillage, this is what sticks in your mind as bad?

Of course you would. You manage to find a problem with someone turning water into wine. Fortunately you don't get to decide what counts as charitable.

Free wine for example?

I tell you what, if the church can turn water into wine (by the click of their fingers) then by all means they can keep their charity status. Until then I don't think it's wise to make people dumber through make belief nonsense.

Is there some reason you consistently misspell Jesus' name?  You know very well it's not "jebus".  I'd consider that to be deliberate disrespect.

You just finished explaining that the water into wine trick was a reason for opposing charitable status. Have you decided not to have a problem with it after all?

How do we really know?  For all we know it was jebus.

You seem confused and again seem to think Christianity is solely about what  jebus said and did.  It isnt.

Because it comes from the simpsons, not any historical source.

I repeat - you know very well it's not "jebus", so why do you consistently misspell it?

I am confused about whether you have a problem with the water into wine trick.

When making a distinction between Christianity and Judaism, which is what you did and what I asked about, Jesus is pretty much the extent of it.

yeh but we need to also consider the number of followers and the extent of damage that can be caused. Hence why I said islam -> christianity -> Judaism. Terrible religions. Just get rid of them. Cause nothing but pain for people. And a lot of stupid thinking.

well done Italy!

And now, do the same to Catholicism too please.

What about Protestants? Buddhists? Taoists? Judaism?

All of it needs to go.

But definitely when it comes to evilness/stupidity of religion, the rank has to be 1. Islam and followed very closely behind is  2. Catholicism/Christianity.

Where does Judaism rank on this list?

Somewhere between Christianity and Buddhism.

Nothing about number of followers here Alevine. It sounds like you were judging the religion itself. And you would have a hard time putting Judaism above Buddhism if you are taking the number of followers into account. Hinduism has about 80 times as many followers, and Buddhism nearly 40. You must have some major issues with Jews to do that.
