The blatant right wing bias on this show is becoming a joke. When are labor going to ban their people appearing? Grin Grin Grin Grin

why were two liberal councilors (one former) allowed to ask questions? talk about bias.

Health is a bottomless pit, money spent here gives very little "bang for your buck", though i would support preventative health spending.

Q and A is a talk fest.  True movers, shakers and innovators know that very little is learnt in the field of "thought" and that advancement in terms of personal development or in the economy can only occur in the field of "action"

How can one benefit from watching Q and A.
One cannot.

How could one learn to ride a horse by watching a 1 hour show on horse-riding every week
One could not.
One must break out of the comfort zone, mount the horse, fall off (fail) many times.
the human brain is very persistent.
It learns nothing from thought but it learns a great deal from failure.
Start a small business (on line if neccessary) and fail repeatedly.....you will advance far more quickly then by watching the twitter feed on the ABC

All things in life are just "events"
No matter how many insurance policies you take out, things will keep happening.
It is how we react when things happen that defines our lives.
Christopher Reeve may have experienced enormous personal growth from becoming a quadrapledgic IF he accepted it in the right mental frame.
To resist life is to suffer.
It is odd that the left are constantly trying to say that the right are resistant to change (there is a grain of truth in this), yet it is the left who are resistant to the "reality of life"
they dislike the economy, capitalists, the way things are.
They are always looking to change, not from a spirit of contribution but because they are in pain in the current reality.
Where ever they go, unfortunately, they always find THEMSELVES there.
accepting challenges and obstacles, in fact relishing hard times is the mark of mindfulness.
Adversity breaks down the ego and then you can rebuild it and rebuild it in a better way.
There is a very good book on this. i think it was called "super fragile" and talks of how chaos is an essential ingredient in producing advancement  Wink

Couldn't sit through the lies, misrepresentations and bullsh1t from the right.

Funny, I was thinking the same of the left. The constant, blatant lies about cuts to health funding are really getting tiresome.

And yet just today another story showing the Liberals looking to privatise Medicare and the health system ?

Maybe these claims of cuts would go away if the Liberals stopped planning to do it ?

Flaming sure it is!

Why dont you shove it where the sun dont shine along with all your other drivel!

I bet you are a useless twit in real life.

We have all seen them in our working life, they talk the talk, but useless in walking the real life walk.

Sound good for a while and might even get a promotion or two and then it stops.

Why? The tortoises around them are busy producing the goods and building up the company instead of talking about it!

Interesting?
Who could be interested in another serving of leftist ABC smears, lies and innuendo?

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

I like Q&A but it's hard to sit through this  one side leftist wankfest. After a line up of teary do-gooders you itch for some old Australia to get up and tell it like it is. But that never happens.
