Why didn't they learn how to mass produce food by extensively farming. It never occurred to them. They never used the wheel, metal etc etc etc. The world left them behind like the Neanderthal. They are an old form of man isolated in Australia who came in contact with a more modern variety who out competed them. Nature. Nothing will turn it back and the problem will always be there because they can't compete in the modern world.

They didn't need to, hunting and gathering was all they needed, a few hours a day. It never occurred t them? Why would they make their lives harder? You do know that when farming was invented it lowered the life expectancy of the population dramatically whilst allowing the population density to increase dramatically.

If there is a tale for moving from hunter/gatherer to farming, it's the Garden of Eden story. Now you will live by the sweat of your brow... etc.
They didn't need to but man must progress. That's the reason they have been taken over. It's not wrong. It's nature. Humans are a part of nature. We forget that sometimes.

Man must survive, that is the fundamental. You cannot progress if you don't exist. They were doing fine in their environment.
In our world was it inevitable? Yep. Yes it's natural and has been done a million times. The part some forget is that we can rise above our nature.
Morality is only relevant in comfortable  times. When everything breaks down nobody will worry about taking over another people. That's where our nature comes from. That's why the most morally conscious people in society are rich.

It's not the opinions that need to be ignored.  It's the constant tag teaming, ad hom, provocations and unprovoked rudeness that needs to be quelled.

Not if you live in sub-Saharan Africa. Never been worse for them.

As a species, sub Saharan Africa is irrelevant.

I would say that most of the world lives in poverty. The wealthy few (like us) have it easy but that comes at the expense of Africans, Asians, and South Americans. Many poor Eastern European countries too.

The world has never been so poorly balanced between the haves and the have nots.

Almost half the world — over three billion people — live on less than $2.50 a day.

At least 80% of humanity lives on less than $10 a day.

More than 80 percent of the world’s population lives in countries where income differentials are widening.

The poorest 40 percent of the world’s population accounts for 5 percent of global income. The richest 20 percent accounts for three-quarters of world income.

According to UNICEF, 22,000 children die each day due to poverty. And they “die quietly in some of the poorest villages on earth, far removed from the scrutiny and the conscience of the world. Being meek and weak in life makes these dying multitudes even more invisible in death.”Source 4

Around 27-28 percent of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted. The two regions that account for the bulk of the deficit are South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.

If current trends continue, the Millennium Development Goals target of halving the proportion of underweight children will be missed by 30 million children, largely because of slow progress in Southern Asia and sub-Saharan Africa.Source 5

Based on enrollment data, about 72 million children of primary school age in the developing world were not in school in 2005; 57 per cent of them were girls. And these are regarded as optimistic numbers.

Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.

Less than one per cent of what the world spent every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 and yet it didn’t happen.S

Infectious diseases continue to blight the lives of the poor across the world. An estimated 40 million people are living with HIV/AIDS, with 3 million deaths in 2004. Every year there are 350–500 million cases of malaria, with 1 million fatalities: Africa accounts for 90 percent of malarial deaths and African children account for over 80 percent of malaria victims worldwide.
