I don't mean social justice or equality or some label like that.
Most people, nearly everybody believes in those things.

I mean is there some core position or disposition that governs how you stand on issues whatever they are.

My basic position would be that I'm a contrarian.

I've probably been this way since about the age of 12.

So that's me, what about you?

Actually, I'm a couldntgiveashitarian.

I've probably been this way since about the age of 40.

You earned my contempt, dear Lisa. You are the most disingenuous, mealy mouthed liar, and the most shameless spammer of absolute drivel, I have ever had the misfortune to meet.

If I acted like you, I would expect to be shunned and abused too.

No one can match your multi trolling spamming.  Irrespective of the nics you use across both boards and the manner in which you attempt to mimic posters who you despise ....you are utterly revolting, manipulative, passive aggressive and dangerous.

Stop lying about people if you don't want them to call you names.

Why would I need to lie?

I've told the truth.

And I'll continue to do so.

Unlike you....it's part of my daily philosophy.

And as regards people calling me names on the internet.....I'm also a practicing Idontgiveashitarian.

But you already know this.

Now run along and bring out your dark side....over on FD's other forum.

It's unbelievable how you can be the same human being.

Yet you are.

You're very disturbed.....and disturbing to read.

I have many personal philosophies:

1. We should leave the world a better place than the one we were born into.
2. Work hard and don't complain.
3. Don't be afraid, have faith in your own ability.
4. Treat others with the same respect you reserve for yourself.
5. Always strive for balance. Especially in relationships (compromise).
6. Don't take more than you need (greed).
7. Live honestly and transparently. Don't attempt to manipulate people.
8. Live a sustainable, healthy life. Take care of yourself, diet and exercise etc.
9. Enjoy all of the beauty that life has to offer. Always be grateful.

If you base 'civilisation' on Humans just building Temples and 'cities' (like how 'Westerners/Media' sees it) - then you really 'limit' your understanding of 'civilisation'.

Aboriginals had a 'civilisation' here (before it was scuttled to some degree by a 10,000 year drought brought on by an Ice Age). They had changed the land via many practices to be a self sufficient 'natural' farm and garden of provision. They didn't 'need' to build Pyramids to feel civilised, they didn't need to congregate into cities. Trapped on an island continent (or just didn't want to associate with other regions) - they 'roamed' freely with caves as partial abodes for ceremonial reasons mostly.

To say 'city' people are civilised over 'country' people is wrong. Hell, look at Sydney & Melbourne - do you think they are 'civilised' compared to the more happier Rural/Country people?
Technological 'superiority' arrogance is only for the 'handicapped' who need it to compensate for what they lack 'naturally'.

The 'illusion' and arrogance of being more 'civilised' than others, is based on 'materialism'.
"I have a pyramid, a city and superior weaponry - so I am 'more' civilised than you!"

This is, of course - an 'illusion', much like Ego.

True 'civilisation' is the harmonious collective of a people/peoples together.
Regardless of their materialistic 'status' - be they Electronic Age or Bronze Age.

Mexico City would not be a 'civilised' society, due to its many 'violent' problems, mass deaths, pollution, over-population, poverty, crime, etc.
Even London & New York could not claim to be civilised, as the 'negative' far outweighs the positive. Only a 'few', enjoy the 'harmony' of living there without 'problems'.

So it doesn't 'really' matter where you live and what era - if your local town is using human sacrifices at the traffic lights to appease the gods and change the weather? Then chances are - you are not living in a 'civilised' society.
It can be said of anyone, be they in the Bush or in the middle of Tokyo.
Even Pitcairn Islands were found to be 'uncivilised' recently and it wasn't due to them NOT having the Internet or a Museum.

Being 'civilised' is like being 'socially Professional and morally responsible' - this is strictly supported by a lack of needing to enforce Capital Punishment and Oppression to achieve this result.

Just because you have a Religion of Moral Code - if it is enforced by a 'violent' punishment, it IS NOT A CIVILISATION.
