Lee, I really don't understand how you can try to cover up by saying 'that was Abbott'. It was the coalition parties and Morriscum the grub was a senior minister in that coalition. They lied then , they are lying now.

I also pointed out that they said politicians should take tax increases to an election. Do you disagree with that?

Abbott ruled out increasing the GST.

Without an election. Which he and Turnbull did.

Gillard ruled out a Carbon Tax too.  Your hypocrisy is shameless.

Without an election.

No you have already been shown that this is wrong.

Really? How was I wrong? the Libs HAVENT increased the GST (so correct on that) and Gillard did promise no Carbon Tax and then brought one in (correct again).

Are you having truth problems again?

The bit that is wrong is that Abbott never made any commitment relation to holding an election - he gave an open guarantee that there would be no GST increase. He committed that the Liberals would not be increasing the GST at all.

He did no such thing, you ignoramus.  He said there would be no GST increase in his first term and that any such increase would be taken to an a election, which is exactly what the government has done.

You can be gobsmackingly obtuse.

What you are saying is the retrospective position that conservatives wish was true.

Fact is that he did promise no GST increase with no strings attached.

In his first term. That is a pretty big string. Why do you insist on being quite so openly and unashamedly a liar?

Yet you are the one who never backs up his statements  and I have shown that what I have said is true.

The ONLY changes that need to be made:

1/ Reinstate the carbon levy.

2/ Reinstate the MRRT.

3/ FORCE corporations and multi-nationals to pay their share.

That's ALL that's necessary - forget all the LNP bullsh1t, that's it.

You are such a clown. With the original MRRT, the government would now be REIMBURSING the mining companies for low commodity prices. With the second MRRT the government  would be receiving $0.

Great idea. Only a bike assembler could come up with it.

Far cough, troll.
