Global warming appears to be accelerating.

USA is in tornado watch which is unusual for winter. Huge snowfalls expected.

'Emphatically broken'
As a whole, 2015 was a standout year, with surface temperatures 0.9 degrees above the 20th-century average.
The tally was 0.16 degrees above the previous record year - set only in 2014 - making it the largest margin by which an annual temperature record had been broken, NOAA said.

hows those bunkers you are building going??

I am sure you wont have any trouble selling them.. White Cliffs...must be doing a roaring trade right now..

they dont list on AllHomes.. do they?...

of course its a bit late now that China is stopping money going off shore??.. that will be a blow to your realestate dream...

Looks like the Karl et al 2015 achieved the unachievable. /sarc

And people wonder why I am sceptical.

But they did include this -

'The warmth was due to the near-record strong El Niño that developed during the Northern Hemisphere spring in the eastern and central equatorial Pacific Ocean and to large regions of record warm and much warmer-than-average sea surface temperatures in parts of every major ocean basin.'

It appears the tornado watch has been cancelled.

the chaos that ensues is merely evolutionary pressure and all rightards welcome evolutionary pressure.

The default position of most species and of most people within the human species is failure.

Rightards see this and recognise that a man is only as big as his problems.

Temperature rising is a problem for the leftie with a comfort seeking mentality . He will complain about the heat. He will be beaten down by his own negative neurosis.
The correct thinking rightie merely sees this as an opportunity to power ahead.

Think of it like you are running a marathon and your thighs are burning with pain. You come to a big mother smacking hill.
the rightard welcomes the hill. he embraces the pain. he surges, knowing that this hill is exactly what he needs to shake off all those rivals.
the beta's, the lefties sit at the bottom of the hill and write a little "cry baby " story about it.
