There are plenty and they annoyed the crap out of me when I was working.  I often came upon a situation......for example....where there had been a marriage breakdown, each spouse had their Lawyers, and the angry correspondence would fly.  Then, there'd be a reconciliation ~ and the parties would see what their respective Lawyers had written to each other.  Quite often, there'd be ~ 'Hang I did not instruct him to say or allege or demand that!  He did that without instruction from me."

So......the Lawyer has made an oppressive demand on a sexual abuse victim without the instruction and authorisation of the Church!!!!

He should be struck off.

I hope the Lady takes it to the Law Society.
