It's a symptom of desperately wanting to 'belong' to a tribal group in society.

Body markings to identify with a tribe are as old as the hills.

There's also the curious fashion of openly admitting to be dickheads by shaving themselves bald. Forensic historical psychiatrists of the future are going to have a field-day explaining that one.

"The 'Dickhead look', please, barber".

"Certainly sir - it's one of our more popular styles nowadays ... "

Does this mean a return to the wearing of the tartan? Very tribal.... aye - the bluidy Campbells....  (clan affiliations Cameron, McDonald of Sleat, Berwick KOSB (Black Watch).. ach - yer Stewart be but an upstart!

What you need to know about tattoos.

http://inkalab.in/all-about-tattoos/

can you imagine having your eyeliner  tattooed.ughhhhhhhhhhhhh...imagine how you look at 85?......count dracula...

Kids have absolutely NO IDEA about what the next 5 years might bring, less alone another 10, 15,  25 or 50!

At least, when I was a kid and starting out, I still observed the Rules that my parents had drummed into me. I didn't do drugs, smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. I didn't get into cars with "strangers" ... and so forth.

Tattoos and shaved heads (
YOU ARE STILL BALD
) reminds me of Gaol Birds .... and/or Bikies. Rough Nuts. If you want to be sexually and physically abused .... lock on to one of those creeps.

PS. I do NOT know anyone with a tattoo.

I don't mix with the lower class, welfare lot.  Wink

They seem to be able "afford" a tattoo or three but have a problem finding employment.

ANYONE with some self respect would NEVER EVER get a tattoo.

Lewis great-grannie - McDonna o' tae Isles..... Cameron is clan affiliation for grand-ma's Irish clan..... Berwick is where my mother's lot get their name - home base of the three towers of Edinburgh Castle.. clansman was with 7KOSB at Arnhem....

Hard choice...  there are also two/three Irish tartans I can have - Irish tartans relate to the land and not the clan though....

Rather nice this one.....

you don't mix full stop. Tattoos aren't the domain of lower class poor. I know lawyers that have them, I've seen doctors that have a tat, bankers, people from all walks of life have tats these days.

oh wait, you probably thought that Paris Hilton is lower class welfare?  Grin Grin Grin Grin
