Personal criticism
Do not post personal criticism of other members. Do not respond to personal criticism of yourself or other members. This is the biggest problem on OzPolitic. Too many members are easily baited into off-topic personal exchanges. If you participate in any kind of flame war you will be suspended, regardless of who started it or who you think ‘deserved it’.

Swearing
We have a swear word filter activated. If you would like to have specific words removed or added to the filter, please raise the issue on the feedback board.

This also includes posting in such a manner, as to avoid the site Spell Checker.

I do hope you dont mind I have stolen your thread as I dearly want to answer it...

and I am BANNED for reasons unknown from FEEDBACK>.

so there is no way I can send a post to you via that board.......hence this thread in chat...I dont know what else to do... if there is another way.. please advise...

I do not think PM is the way to go.. as I really think these things need being aired in the main arena....

I dont mind spell check..if thats what its called...some of the words it checks are a bit fuddy duddy but who cares..what I like about it is.. it means someone is watching and caring about this forum...enough to stop some of the tripe. and name calling...which really is so irritating...

I do believe we need more clarity on what is PERSONAL ABUSE...I do believe when you get banned you need to be told why... what word you used..,,

and yes I think a warning wouldnt go amiss either..

.please desist  using these words or this word..... in some cases an apology should be demanded.. some people dont like saying sorry they may get sick of being told to do so..or no return...

but please sort out what is PERSONAL ABUSE?...as j.smith has pointed out if you want to get around the swearing you can.. but PERSONAL  ABUSE IS MORE THAN BEING SWORN AT?....

in the General board you will find a threas titled..

for the benefit of cods..

you may even have had a look I know andrei has...he even  posted..

but  he and any other mod who has had a read I presume do not see this thread as PERSONAL ABUSE...

but I do.... I find it very PERSONAL it is directed at me...it is putting me down...and it is..almost demanding I do their bidding....the tone did change for a moment but only to cover themselves....

it is what I call personal abuse...

its a form of stalking..which if you care to read a thread about a pakistani.and teenagers... you will see almost similar behavior where people are selected to be baited or made fools of...again.. hardly "Idio t or moro n"  but equally as bad if not worse........its gang bullying...its relentless...its unworthy it adds nothing to the threads or the forum.....

yet is it classified as PERSONAL ABUSE?>..

can we in fact contact a GMOD and he/she will act on the complaint....of relentless stalking...

dont say! dont reply just ignore because these people never stop doing this...

some people dont care what others think about them...they just dont care...

but they are by the same token cunning enough not to use the language that could get them reported and banned.. very cunning....because the harm they do is much worse in my opinion than someone swearing...


if you can give me an answer to this problem I would be very interested....
