I read that Canada can be a bit like Melbourne where it can be 4 seasons in one, and layering of clothes is recommended.

Being used to Melbourne weather, yesterday was 43 deg and today is a very cool 20ish with rain.....and we really did need the rain.

Well.. sold the mower.. going to work tonight... I think Poker is on at the club..... and that old Southern NSW rain kept pourin' down... luuurvly... should do wonders for the fire-prone Victorians.... at least might settle the smoke I've been choking on for days....

It's a total sh"thole if you want my view.
The first thing I do is leave and head south on the I-5.

SO You have fallen for all the LA cliches and have nothing original to say? My favorite drive in that area is from Malibu up to Santa Barbara but LA has many increasingly vibrant neighborhoods that I wish I had more time to visit.

36 degrees in Sydney?

I'm facing -18C in Norway on Friday!

Though I'm only there 12 hours. Due to the ridiculous pricing of British Airways I have to fly to Norway to pick up a flight to Los Angeles connecting right here in London.
Bloody ridiculous. But the cost is £1,900 v £3,950....

Insanity.

Huh? Negative 18 degrees?

Are you surrounded by igloos and eskimos by any chance lol?

Probably.
I'm staying at the airport hotel.
I'll take a walk outside to see what it's like but I'm packing for California not Norway so doubt I'll be correctly attired....

Grin Grin Grin Grin enjoy ...I froze my nuts off in Oslo in summer, . Beautiful city though ...if you get a chance to look around Id highly recommend it.

I'd hate to visit in Winter Although I doubt wifey dearest will let me skip it. She loves Norway and wants to travel there in winter.  Cry Cry Cry

-18C this morning.....

I walked literally 3 mins at best from hotel to he front airport entrance and this cold wind could freeze a forest fire.
