No doubt Labor is far from perfect but that look pretty much perfect in comparison to the Liberals.

You call unwanted sexual advances and threats BS? Hmmm, hardly surprising coming from you.

Exactly how is a consensual one night stand unwanted?

There it is 7th line of the interview, straight from her own mouth

Quote:
Ms Jones claims Mr Clements, a married father of three, snapped last June after she revealed she was going to tell her fiance, Labor organiser Dave Latham, about a one-night stand they shared in 2013.

Is that like how China our largest trading partner is somehow a closed market?

Have you gotten even more challenged since christmas?

Just another cliche`post

Who in their right mind believes this crap?

Especially when the evidence is considered it doesn't add up.

Did you miss the part where he asked her to kiss him?

Shocked by his response, Ms Jones said she agreed to keep the fling a secret and Mr Clements left the room — only to return moments later and allegedly lock the door and demand: “ ‘I want a guarantee. I want a guarantee (that you won’t tell Dave)’ and stood over me and said ‘I want a guarantee, kiss me. Kiss me. You know you want it’.

“I got out from under his arm, tried to open the door, he held it closed and kept going with ‘You know you want it, I want a guarantee, kiss me’ ,” she said.

“I physically put my hands up and said ‘no this isn’t happening, this is not happening Jamie’.

“He then went into this moment of Zen and looked at me ... and then stomped out the door.”

Doesn't sound wanted to me...

Personal relationships are always messy.

Is she leaving anything out?

Anyway the point of my post is you & the murdoch press abused & posted details of a women who through no fault of her own was assaulted by a liberal member.
Said member then distributed a photo of this women as intimidation.

Now its Labor your all woe is me & outraged even though it was a consensual relationship gone wrong.

Why did she approach him about this at work?

It's a personal issue why not call out of work hours & tell him of your intentions to spill the beans on your tryst?

Are LNP supporters really trying to play the sexism card?

ARE YOU FOR REAL?

Both parties seem to have an issue with sexism - as does the Australian business community.

This is something we have to sought out.

Why is sexism regarded as only 'against women'?  You ever work in the Public Service? As a man there you'd soon learn what Sexism is all about..... and you would see the outcomes from Affirmative Action at first hand.....

It is profoundly Sexist to even consider a quota system..... not to mention Fascio-Communist in that it is an imposition without justice.

I will never vote for Labor as long as they refuse to allow genuine merit and genuine results (is there any such thing in some kid coming up through the Party ranks all filled with the Party line and toeing it religiously?) to be the only yardstick by which a person is selected/promoted.

On the other hand, philosophically I could never vote LNP.

Vote 1 - Grappler For President!  Stop The Parties!

Do you live in the US? We have a PM, not a President.

Indeed - but we are in desperate need of some change... any change will do... starting from zero got nothing to lose...

Vote 1 - Grappler For President!  Stop The Parties!

We all (those of us with a brain, anyway) know that Labor has an appalling track record regarding the treatment of women and this just proves it. Gillard's farcical misogyny speech in parliament was simply appalling and shows how little respect for women there is in the ALP, even from some of its female representatives.

Gillard's speech cast a bad light on Labor men?  That's a stretch...

you missed her Emily's List speech about 'men in blue ties'?

Gillard hates all men.

there should be a quota system for MEN in primary school teaching.  in SA there are about 15 schools with NO male teachers.

but dare even ask about that and hear the howls of sexism.

what about a quote system for nurses?

or is the truth that in some areas, one gender might be *gasp* more suited to the occupation?

at least the woman was an adult. the ALP predators are not always so particular.

and if you dont think that is a BIG issue, then you are kidding yourself.

I've had past friends who were/are male nurses..... the perks might be good but the power gaming is incredible and you see very few such gaining the top echelons...... it is de rigeur for all the best paid slots to be held by women 100% in nursing....
