Record your 'abuse' complaints here.

Given GMod perceptions now made an issue of this matter today, I thought there had to be a way to get some transparency/accountability/consistency on this endemic issue of abuse. Maybe making public the complaints sent in might be a way. I've just sent this PM to Andrei Hicks, and we will all soon be able to see any outcome.

I don't know the exact time, but Mr Hicks has now read that complaint. It was in the last half hour.

And.....no ban. So, we have learned that, as far as Hicks is concerned, to accuse someone of stalking and of having a small penis (wonder about cavernous vagina?) is not a breach of the Rule.

And we also now know that this posted by longweekend is also not a breach of the Rule. We know because longweekend posted this morning, well after Hicks read the PM.

Now, I have fairly actively avoided commenting here, the abuse thread etc etc etc.

Not that I am opposed to the threads in any moral sense, people chose to behave badly, then the spotlight should be put on that.

Yet, we occasionally run into an interesting dilemma.

I wrote to the mods and FD this morning regarding a post made by a Mod that was clearly in breach of rules in the very thread that another mod was pointing out the rules to us plebs....

The only obvious response was that the offending post has been sneakily edited, without any evidence of the edit, no admission of hypocrisy, wrong doing or unreliability...

All I ever ask for regarding moderation etc is consistency, sadly, the only consistency is unreliability and now it seems blatant dishonesty...

Very disappointing.

For the moment, I will refrain from posting the actual complaint as posted to Mods. For now!

Funnily enough, this particular thread that seems so hated by many has the one redeeming feature of being able to provide evidence.

Fair enough. There has to be some way of having the work of GMods made much more transparent, and ATM accountability (other than to FD) is completely lacking.
