By mid-September 2015, over one million highway legal plug-in electric passenger cars and light utility vehicles have been sold worldwide

you said something about nice people .... doesn't sound like almost no EV's  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

so over the past 10 years a whole million have been sold?  the entire ANNUAL australian car market is 1.2M while the global market is 200 times that.

i know big numbers confuse you, but....

nah they just confuse you.

speaking of confused ... how does 1 million = almost 0?

1 million out of two BILLION cars sold is 0.05%    thats pretty damned close to zero, fool

no it's not, no matter how much you try to twist it.  One million is about a million away from zero.

I'll tell you what, I'll give you almost no money and in exchange you give me a million dollars, that way we can see just how close it is  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

i wil give you 0.05% of my lottery winnings. see how excited you get over $5.  yes,  it IS very close to zero.

i'll take the million if you don't mind Wink

1 million EV's are 1 million that Holden and Ford didn't profit from Wink

One million is not almost nothing. Not today, not tomorrow and not in 500 years time. Just admit you're an idiot and move on, you're only embarrassing yourself by keeping this going

Countries that get the bulk of their revenue from oil will be hit hard. What will they do when they can't meet expenses? Go to war?

come back to me when you can find a non-oil driven plane, freight train, ship or the vast majority of road transport.  When you can fnd a substitute for plastic and most synthetic materials (all made from oil) then tell us again what will happen.

what a twit r u?  declining revenue because of LOWER PRICES.  nice person.

almost no EVs on the road at all. no electric air craft and the vast,  vast majority of transport done using fossil fuels.    Seen any electric tanker ships lately?

only nice people like you spruik crap like this because you are such a failure in your own life.

There will never be electric aircraft due to power to weight ratio limits.

There is already an electric aircraft; the Solar Impulse which is flying around the world.

Are the panels of that aeroplane made of plastic....???

Made of oil.

Unfortunately the Solar Impulse hasnt a pulse at all......been sitting on a runway for months because it is fvckced.

This is the future the muppets keep blathering...

The first firearms were no match for a half decent archer.
Yet once technology was applied (mainly through conflict) firearms left arrows behind.

I suspect the same will apply to our energy industries.

It needs the price of oil and coal to go much higher that's why they are so  cheap at the moment.
