Horse boy has been indoctrinated, with insane nonsense.

Self help books do not help much at all.

They certainly help the creepy individuals who write them.

They'd never get a real job, however, gullible fools like aqua keep them rolling in cash by buying their overpriced doorstops.

Now we know where he gets all his nonsense from.

Wow, that quote really is arrant nonsense, isn’t it?

I certainly did not think about any of that nonsense when walking to the ATO with $500 in my pocket when I had been told to bring $20,000 cash. Just used everything I had been taught in Business Communications—and applied them successfully too! I could have walked away not even paying the $500 cash I had in my pocket  Smiley

Generally, I paid over $120,000 debts my stupid partner had run up before he left the business and I kept it running and employing people until illness (arthritis) forced me to stop.

Didn’t crack a single stupid self help book!

You should have.
that quote helped me understand much of how the world works.

leftardism and women are 2 forces that are overly emotional and overly anxious. they are neurotic, in some ways.

Now the correct response of a rightard to a leftard or of a real man to his woman is to be "like ice'
"like a rock"

leftards and women are constantly "testing' rightards and men to see if they are "what they say they are"

Leftards and women are seeking comfort and they wont find this comfort until they find "strength' and they dont know they have found "strength" until they have shiiit-tested it.

So your woman and your leftard colleague will be constantly putting you under emotional pressure to see if they can trust you to remain "steeley'

And a successful rightard or a successful man, just has to weather this and stay on course.

this is the way of the "superior man" Wink Wink

Wow, such sweeping generalisations.

Leftard—all flavors? Including left wing business people?

Women—you include bull dykes in that?

Just complete meaningless rubbish you got from your “self help” books.

Out of your own observations and thoughts, if such is still possible for you, define ‘leftard’ and “rightard’ using just simple words.

certainly.

leftardism is the feminine energy

more nurturing
more unconditional in its love
more emotional
more likely to have relative truths rather then absolute truths
more anxious
better suited to following
less logical
more reactive
more artistic
less able to follow through on planning

rightardism is a more masculine energy

not so much nurturing but more looking after the needs of his fellow man through caring about their development
love is more conditional (this is the love of a father who expects certain things, not the love of a mother which can tend to make her a bit of a martyr).
admires strength
less emotional
more logical
more naturally assertive and so more suited to the leadership role.
less reactive, more stoic.

thats a brief synopsis.

rightardism is the natural realm of leaders, mover and shakers and go-getters.
leftardism is the natural realm of followers, of style over substance , of the talk-fest, of dilly-dallying , of gossip and of the inability to focus and follow thru when the going gets tough. Wink Wink

I look at your posts and that is all I can see.

Why not try increasing facts and decreasing the abuse?

Bit of attention to grammar, punctuation and capitalisation will help.

Over to you, Longy.

Mothra, firstly my apologies, I had a chuckle to myself when I saw FD's ONLY response was to move your thread to relationships. My theory on this is that this is FD's way of letting you know your concerns are a waste of time... He won't be doing squat about anything herein.

I chuckled, because my first thought when I first read your thread is that FD will move this, probably to relationships because he seems to use that as his dumping ground...

I apologies because such a contemptible action probably is not really funny at the end of the day.

Now, to other matters...

Aqua - please keep on reading your self help books.

I would recommend though that you either do a course on comprehension, read the entire book or purchase better quality books... They are about your only three options based on the utter nonsense you post.

I suggested to you (quite respectfully as I recall it) reading up on Meta-cognition - clearly you have not though, or you have not grasped it. Now the reason I suggested that to you specifically was because you seem to be interested in this stuff and you make posts that seem to talk around exactly what Meta-cognition is all about. Except you consistently miss the mark...

You spent some time here talking about ego, further, you did so seemingly from a perspective that you have mastered this. Respectfully though, I say to you, if you had truly mastered your own ego you would not need to fall back of left vs right paradigm in your comments. Your personal commitment to right wing thinking is absolutely your choice of course, your demonstrated commitment to justify your decision to be a right wing supporter on your "self help" manuals diatribes about "ego" is demonstrative of your own ego's need to be correct in your decision to be a right wing supporter... Even more so, when flaws in your plastic bubble world (that you call reality...) are pointed out, you respond that they are not "true" rightards (pretty sure rightard is the expression you use, if not my apologies). Once again though, that is your ego talking, nothing more.

Now, you mentioned also, right/left brain thinking regarding being "emotional"... Once again, I will demonstrate that your information is either totally wrong, or you have not comprehended what was written. Right and Left parts of the brain have very specific and necessary functions, ironically, very little to do with emotions overall. As should normally be expected, a fair smattering of individuals favour one hemisphere over another - this is a good thing though, without those individuals we would not have advance mathematics, art, music or even a very advanced concept of logic or philosophy. I am sure you would agree all those things are kind of important in the grand scheme of our species existence.

What you are alluding to though, when you talk about emotional responses are the Amygdala (you have a right and left one of these two). In very simple terms, this is the accelerator - this is the part of our brain that responds first and foremost to emotional triggers. The spot where flight, fight or freeze occurs. It is a normal part of the human brain.

Of course, we are a species with (theoretically) some pretty unique "wiring" in our brain that link the Amygdala up with our frontal cortex (lobe), now that bit of the brain is where we can be more analytical, abstract, thoughtful and, rely on what we have previously learned and/or experienced in order to thoughtfully respond to any given situation, rather than just reacting emotionally. Clearly, that process takes a bit of practice and, even with practice, it is absolutely normal for us not to get this right every single time in our lives. Hopefully though, we get it right during important times mostly.

Finally, using ideas about how we think, responding to our emotions and ego to justify, dismiss and/or minimise what is patently abusive, derogatory and threatening behaviour is NOT at all what any self help book is about, ever, even the rubbish ones that are out there. One would reasonably expect slightly better, to be honest, from a father of daughters.

who'd bother giving facts to you?  you exaggerate and flat-out lie as a matter of course. you rarely provide links and when you do, you seems shocked that people mock your blog posts and facebook pages.

That is actually abuse, but you will get away with it.

It is also cover for you not knowing most subjects that gets discussed here, goes with a lack of ability to argue logically.
