Here's a real man. He isn't sitting in a pub discussing ponies.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-01-25/lifesaver-watched-asylum-seekers-drown-off...
if he was a real hero he wouldnt have watched as people drowned.  massive fail.

That’s what I thought. How could someone watch women.and kids drown because they might get accused of people smuggling?
A moral compass isnt subjective. I wouldnt laud this man.

I would. He's doing what he can to help in the situation, not spending his time using examples to generalise an entire people for the sole purpose of trying to argue against helping evade a deadly situation.

He's a man. He's a human.  Both things I find hard to say about you.

I don’t know what’s worse. Muslims or "progressives".
progressives. They will fight to the death for Muslim "rights' while the same Muslims couldnt care less.

because we actually have conviction. Unlike under age fools.

No my risible friend. i believe in duty and honour  above all else. even if i hated these people i would save them. When duty demands  there is no thought process as to who or what they are or any political considerations. This is something you can not understand. You are a sheep, i am a sheep dog.

I doubt very much you'd do anything at all. People like you are all talk, no action.   But keep telling yourself you would step outside of the pub, where you spend your time whining about migration amongst drunken peers.

If you were a sheep dog...

humans have a responsibility to be responsible dog owners. If they can't keep the dog in proper shape then they are being cruel to the dog. It should be a criminal matter. Your owners should be prosecuted for what they've done to you. Wink

the refugee intake is for permament resettlement - which is a voluntary programme. You do understand there is no actual limit to how many refugees we take up, right?

In what context? We're not more important in many of them.

i have no issue with taking as many refugees as we can handle. under some conditions. if we take refugees into this country we have a responsibility to make sure they have the resources available to become  productive citizens. This is our responsibility. Dont take them if we arent willing to make the resources available.
