What really baffles me is "WHY" would such young people with their lives ahead of them ever contemplate joining criminal scum and murderers to kill other human beings.

We were all young once and even though we may have been impressionable I think the majority could tell right from wrong, most of the young people I grew up with had some sort of conscience.

Really disturbing that the youth today can be brain washed so easily.

What really baffles me is why anyone would suggest this is not all bad news...

I think you hit the nail on the head, we, as a society have gotten so caught up with vendetta punishment (i.e. revenge) rather than educative consequence...

In short, we have failed en masse to teach these kids right from wrong.

Now, saying that, when someone suggests that the rape and murder of a seventeen year old girl is not somehow bad news is it really a big leap to understand how these "young and impressionable" teens make such appalling errors of judgement regarding right from wrong?

It is truly disgusting that an important topic like this is treated as nothing more than a troll vehicle...

Very well said, Ajax.

Schools no longer teach critical-thinking but only deal in Leftwing mantras, politically correct platitudes, and bland opinions designed not offend anybody who isn't a white, straight, Christian Westerner.

Nowadays whatever one says as a teacher in a classroom is in dire jeopardy of falling foul of a dozen 'ism's and 'phobia's - any one of which could get the teacher sacked.

... racism ... Islamophobia ... homophobia ... White Nationalism ... Climate Change denial ... xenophobia ... bigotry ...

... Oh, and 'trolling' ~ (with thanks to Phem).

Thank you for alerting me to yet another stigmatising word that is designed to close down discussion if it's seen not to conform with Leftwing ideology or viewpoint.

I have added it to the list in my previous post.

Again, thank you for prompting my memory of this much-abused word.

And at long last, serial rapist Bill Cosby is brought before a court to answer to charges of raping only one solitary woman instead of well over 50 ...

This is in consideration of his RACE of course, because it's important that the BLACK COMMUNITY isn't prompted to go on a Black Rampage through their ghetto neighbourhoods in protest against RACIAL PERSECUTION if good old homie Bill has too many charges piled against him.

If this was a white celebrity like Rolf Harris the media would be going bat-sh*t asking why only one charge is being laid against him while over 50 depositions have been made by women accusing him of date-rape.

I believe in the poetic justice of those who end up as victims of the very same people whom they once hoped to assist with their cruel abominations.

I'm glad she got multiple-raped and killed by those she once sympathised with.

oh for goodness sakes herb....your racists comments get on my nerves... they are two different countries for godsakes...

the fact that they are going ahead with one case against him... is amazing....their courts are so clogged they have had to put a time limit on taking action.. thats how bad crime is in AMerica.....what a country..

how ever if he is found guilty then the rest will all take civil action against him and he is a goner.....

I million bond.....what a come down what a mess.... looks like even his wife is having second thoughts....

An awful lot of War Crimes offenders were hanged and shot after the war - with nobody objecting to these terminations.

If only I was elsewhere, I could freely articulate what I think of the rapists, and you.

Unfortunately, I can only say "thanks for your input".
