Wasn't that the election that the Libs won with 49% of the vote.

The Vote in the senate was a landslide against the GST.

The GST was only passed because the Democrats back flipped from their solid as a rock election commitment.

The only reason that the Democrats no longer exist is that the people who voted for them were voting against the GST and as a result of their backflip never voted for them again.

If Turnbull allows Abbott back into the tent he will be working on the same theory as Gillard.

"Keep your friends close & your enemies even closer"

It will dispel any thought of a MODERATE LNP & frankly with Abbott back & his henchmen calling the shots combined with a possible Trump election win in the states there will be nowhere to hide as we march once again down the road to  mass annihilation.
