Anyway Herb, we're about to leave to go to an ethnic shop to do some browsing.
IKEA.
I'd like to leave you with a bit of homework.
What is your definition of an Aussie?
IKEA? You're a masochist!
I don't do 'encores' Lisa. I've already given my definition of an 'Aussie'.
If you're an 'Aussie' as opposed to being legally 'Australian' - you'll know it.
If you're legally 'Australian' without being an 'Aussie' - you'll know it.
My own niece was born and bred in Australia - growing up speaking another language. She is by no stretch of the imagination an 'Aussie'. A proud Australian? - Yes - but not an 'Aussie'.
Don't sweat it, Lisa.
When I first arrived in the UK from China I never felt 'English' - and still don't ... and then when I arrived in Australia, I never became an 'Aussie' in any shape or form.
But I have never borne this like a cross of Victimhood on my back as you ethnics do.
