During the day, you can see the stars from the bottom of a well.

False - seeing the stars does not depend on the level of light you can see - only on the level of light that affects the dust layers above Earth.... it is still daylight above when you are looking in a well.... so the same amount of sun light still reflects off the dust etc.....

A Math Student overslept and was late for his class.  He saw a mathematical problem written on the blackboard and assumed it had been left as homework.  After he had solved the problem and handed his homework to the Teacher, the Teacher revealed it was actually an example of a famous problem that no previous mathematician had been able to solve.

True and amazing.

True... his name was Albert Einstein (I think).....

Not one golf tee did I get yesterday, but I did get a small metal box containing a pile of small cards upon which 'crazy urban myths' are printed.  The blurb says...'People do the strangest things and here are some of the weirdest.  Whether they are real or not is open for debate, but it'll make for fascinating discussion.'

Here is the first:

A dead man travelled back and forth across Indonesia on a train for most of a day before anyone realised he'd died.

Well, I've now used all the cards.  So, it's google to your heart's content for the answers.

Thanks, to all those who joined in.
