So mariacostel..you're an Urban Soldier, Maria are you?.. But not Urban enough to know that you shouldn't pass judgement on victims and that is the offence LOUD AND CLEAR that you are guilty.
I don't disbelieve you when you say you have risen above your own troubles. I personally know a lot of victims who have done exactly that.
What you don't get....is that just because you have risen become successful, it doesn't ,make the trauma you have been through any less.
And that...is the point you just don't get!!!!!!!
No, the trouble is that ALL you think about is the trauma! As for 'passing judgment', maybe you should join stunspore and JS in the reading comprehension class. If anyone is passing judgment it is you in condemning them to victimhood. WINNING means leaving things behind and FORGIVING the perpetrators.
One of the great stories is that of dutchwoman Corrie ten Boom, Auschwitz survivor whose family was gassed while she was rescued. Many years later, she was speaking at a conference (on forgiveness) and a man came up to her and told her that he had been a guard at Auschwitz when she was there. She forgave him and hugged him - a man whose actions had been part of a murderous regime that had claimed her entire family and almost herself. That was true forgiveness in action. And this old woman who had been through hell and survived lived to her 90s.
This is what I am talking about. She was NEVER a victim and she helped tens of thousands of others to cast aside victimhood.
you really are a case arent you??
so if someone murdered your family you would be happy to forgive them and move on as if nothing had happened???...
and this is how you think everyone should be when it comes to any crime against them...???
really??
do you think the families of the Belanglo FOrest murders..should hug Ivan Milat and forgive him so he can walk amongst us...a free man... why not..

you do realise that the man she was fogiving was not the one that actually pushed her family into the ovens.. he was just part of a system.....
just like the jail keeper is just part of the system...
you in fact have been very personal and rude to people on here..
why dont you just forgive them and turn the other cheek if its all that simple..
these are just words you are dealing with there are no scars to bear whether visible or non visible....
